The Thread Killer Cometh

67 and moving on.

First new car was a 59 Fiat 600 that I put a bunch of Abarth stuff on then a 36 HP VW
Beetle also Abarth equipped. Way Retro and way before fart cans, spoilers, ground effects and killer stereos. AM radio only.
Abarth exhausts were way cool. Dual outlets on the Fiat, Quads on the VW, headers and all and.................almost no sound, only perfomance.

The single Weber on the Fiat and the doubles on the VW also helped a lot.

Also had a 1951 Merc, a la James Dean's 49 or 50 in "Rebel Without A Cause".

Sigh, sometimes I think I need to find another forum, it's tough hanging out with you young un's.

Aw, don't run off - then I won't have anyone to play with (and I might end up being the oldest one left at 62).
