My parents bought me my 02 L. It's nothing to be ashamed about, having your parents buy you your car. (the truck's title is still under dad's name, though)
Funny thing though, my father and I were actually looking to get HIM a new truck!
I had an 01 king ranch. He took it and i got the Lightning.
Not a bad deal if you ask me!
(My L had only 11000 miles on it when we got it!)
