But, with 2-3 glasses of Hennessey in you, you won't be hearing or seeing that well anyway!

Hersh opens his own HiFi shop . . . and a typical system that he sells looks like this -

I inherited my dad's old LaScala speakers this year. Unfortunately my wife says they are too big for the house, so they sit at my mom's house.

One of these days I plan on getting them hooked up and running again.

Kenwood rocks

I've still got and works fine a Kenwood KR 4400 receiver that I purchased in 1975. I keep it in the garage for tunes out there.

Good lord.. don't let the beer swilling party swines near the electronics. It's just like scotch... the Blue label for yourself... Gold Label for good friends... black, red, whatever for the masses. There is a reason I have three audio systems...

Be careful . . . with talk like that, some folks will accuse you of being a snob.

A snob living in the Detroit ghetto... that's a good one!

Besides... I know Hersh has the Blue Label squirreled away somewhere.

Speaking of elitism... my boss and I are going to listen to some Grados at lunch. Just so happens the same place has the Maggie MG20.1...

My headphone amp and iPod line-out dock arrive next week.

I'm not thatbad. We didn't make it out to listen to the Grados. Just as well, I found the AKG K701s for a sweet, sweet deal online and snapped 'em up. Everything should get in next week. Can't wait to see how they compare to my boss's Sennheisers.
