Like I said I'm not totally innocent, I definatly could have been more passive, showed some class, just backed off some, gave him room and let him be as comfortable as I could and just let him take his sweet time to get around the semi. I really wasn't in a hurry, I had plenty of time.

But this all happened before I had finished my first pot of coffee. Rational isn't my temperment till then.

I dont know about "fun" I can think of alot of other things I'd rather do for fun. It kind of set my mood for the entire morning, I had to stop and recoop a few hours later just to force myself to get out of that routine and attitude with everyone and get in a good groove.

no i just dont get what so big of a thrill of playing games with people on the road and thinking its "cool" and bragging on here about it? gimme a break! you dont think its childish? why waste your time by pissing other people off and potentialy causing wrecks and injuries. if that makes me a "grown up" then thanks

you never know how crazy the person is behind you is! we had a guy get shot in my home town a few months ago because he would not get out of the way. witnesses said he was playing games and wouldnt get out of anyones way and was blocking traffic on purpose. well i guess he blocked the wrong guy! got shot in the arm! why risk it? all you gotta do is get out of the way (if you safely can). less stress and safer for everyone.......

whoever said napoleon syndrome, thats pretty funny!

I'm pretty damn young and all of this still evades me as to why these few people think that its so fun or why they even let it get themselves so worked about it. Just like I said, I hope they need to rush to an emergency one time and someone brake checks them.

I'm still hoping someone brake checks someone with their hitch in just so I can read the post "Tailgater pissed me off, I brake checked him, Now I've got a bent frame " Oh boy Oh boy!

You must not pay attention to what you read because I specificly said I dont break check. I just gradually slow down.

well IMO seeing someone come up behind you and blocking them and "gradually slowing down" to 10 mph or whatever and riding in the middle for 2 miles so no one can pass is looking for trouble, unless you know the dude behind you and are having fun. too many nutjobs out there, for your sake i hope you dont do it to the wrong guy.........

I appreciate your concern for me as well as others, however; the way things are looking today youre more likely to get shot while doing something as simple as walking to your car. Killing people nowadays is equivilent to punching someone or knocking them out 20 years ago. Remember back when if someone robbed you they just took your money and ran? That doesn't exist anymore. Youre lucky if you live from being robbed, 95% of the time today the victim will give the robber his wallet without any hassle and the robber will still shoot him in cold blood. Yea Im prolly at a little bit higher risk by pissing people off the way I do but if Im goin down it's gonna be for something worthwhile. Lets just pray it doesnt happen anytime soon.

I don't get too many tailgaters when I'm driving my 2001 Crown Vic. I've had the Vic for almost 6 years and maybe I've had two tailgaters.

If someone tailgates me while I'm driving my F150, it is their loss of any advantage. I mean they cant see and they are most likely not going to intimadate a truck.

Really, I don't get many tailgaters in my F150.

Nevertheless, I try not to provoke anyone, so getting out of the way (safely) is not beneath me.

Dave
