may be a repost, but definitely worth it to those who never watched it.

As a man of science, I simply laugh at all of those that are "up in arms" about the "global warming" problem. If one were able to see the average temperatures for a given area for all of time, I'm quite confident that the resulting graph would appear as a "sine" wave, that is with periods of increasing and decreasing temperatures. We've gone through many ice ages and "warm" ages on this planet, so my thought of a sine wave is somewhat believable. I recently read in an article (which I can't find, but come back for a link soon), that our (read: human) contribution to "global warming" is only 0.6%, much much less than what all of the so-called "environmentalists" claim.
So, Cliffs: "Global warming" is happening, but we have much less to do with it than most of the scientific/political community lead us to believe.

I'm sick of hearing ppl complain about how bad we're hurting the enviroment. Are we? Yes. Are we doing as much damage as ppl say we are? No.
It's political BS. The damn Earth is still coming out of the last Ice Age.

At this point it's going to be harder to convince people that we shouldn't spend billions of our tax dollars to fix something that is a natural occurance.
There are a lot of people who are convinced that Bush and his oil buddies caused global warming. Something about getting all of our money. Bla, bla bla. Algore is god, bla, bla bla.

In that series it points out that C02 only comprises .054% of the gases in the world's atmosphere, that's it! And a large portion of it is NATURALLY occurring.
It also points out points in history that had WAY WAY WAY more c02 (I believe it said hundreds or even thousands) as much c02 as now with same or lower temperatures.
It still boggles my mind that so many people can buy into global warming when the world has literally dumped billions into research and not found a single conclusive report on the causes- NOT ONE!

Glad someone brought this up.
I was listening to a radio show a few weeks ago and they were talking about global warming. The host had a copy of Newsweek from 1977 or so. It had an article on "global cooling" and world scientists talking about the problems the world will face in the next 20 years with the "cooling" of our planet.

A recent Newsweek article on global warming. There are actually some reputable scientists that think global warming isn't the disaster it is portrayed to be!
