This is my first Road King. Had a Deuce before. I love this bike but have developed arthritis and a bulging disk in my neck so I kinda need something to block the wind. Thinking of letting this one go and buying a Road Glide or a street Glide.

Just picked my first bike up about 2 months ago now to keep miles off the truck and keep the gas bill down I didn't want the crotch rocket type and didn't want the underpowered cruiser, so I ended up with this...

2009 Hyosung GV650 30th Anniversary Edition 781/1000. Only about 200 of these made it to the U.S.

2008 CBR600RR

Pics before I laid her down..

Pic of me taking her to get fixed...

Pic of my helmet after I head dived into the interstate at 70 mph... Notice the crack?

Road rash...

After shoulder surgery...

For all you riders and will be... Please wear FULL FACE helmets. As you can see it saved my life. Other wise I'd have brains and my face all over interstate I-16 in Georgia.

Please wear gear too... even if its hot out. I didn't that day, just a t-shirt and jeans, because it was hot out....

There are two kinds of riders... "Those who have fallen and those who will"... You can only prepare yourself...

Good luck and God speed....

I can tell you my recovery has been a bitch....

And the 3 months of physical therapy to use my arm again, painful, long, and angry....

mosh reminds me of my brothers road rash. fresh asphalt, less than a week old pulled a wheelie over on his 96 cr250. his knee was disgusting.

oh and PT isnt fun either. i ran my hand thru the press and i remember squealing in agony when they took x-rays. they dont "try" they do it, if you pass out from the pain they dont care they did their part lol. i got to PT and omg, the **** they make u do sometimes surprises you how much it hurts from a simple movement.
