Is that Deal's Gap, or "Tail of the Dragon?" I am working on getting myself a sportbike soon. We also have a bike identical to yours D at the dealership where I work, and a 2004 Moto Guzzi too. Both traded in for Hondas.

Wow! I can't imagine trading in my beemer for anything. And a trading in a wicked cool 'guzzi for a Honda?!!! I'd take the rare bike nobody has versus a bike everyone and their brother has.

Yeah he got a VTX1800, which is the rare Honda no one can afford at $15k+

Something about going on 12 hour rides and needing more comfort than the Guzzi could offer. But yeah, I'm with you.

2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 Shaft Drive, picked it up NEW about a month ago for around $6399 OTD. Not too bad considering it's an all new model this year. In the past I have ridden a Ninja, R1, 600F4i, and 600RR (in no particular order).

I LOVE IT!

Wierd... when I think of bikes to go 12 hours I sure don't think VTX1800! Or Guzzi for that matter... I'm thinking full fairing lay-z-boy seat touring bike.

Looks like a hootin' good time!!
We did have a blast and we are prolly heading down this Saturday to tear it up again.

I know i need some pants but I'm just going to save my money and get the full suit and boots over the off season.

BTW, deals gap is getting too busy and is heavily patrolled by the cops. We know some great roads in WV. good condition, clean and not alot of traffic.

Those of you thinking about getting a bike, get a used one, deals can be found for just a few grand.

We had another great day in WV this past weekend. I really do need to get some gear so i can hang off the bike more. On this corner i touched down my foot and peg.

As soon as the roads get a little cleaner and dryer, I'm going out for a rip. Even if its only for 30 minutes, it will tide me over for awhile.
