Suure..I have my computer in a big pile in the family room so I can get the sheetrock up in my room and all you crazy fuggers are here having fun, 3 sums and whatever the hell else went on last night. Damnit, I knew this bedroom project was gonna ruin my life for a week or so.

Sorry we partied without you BREW. If you were here working in my garden, instead of playing around with sheetrock, we could have a party here!! Oh, wait!! The garden is buried in about 2 feet of snow and it's like -2° outside, I guess gardening is out of the picture. What to do, what to do??

 

sorry I havent been around, my power went out at 4:15am saturday morning, hasnt been out since, it looks like a war zone around here, every tree in the country has either been stripped of it's branches or up rooted. They are not expexting to get everyones power up for a couple more days, we will be last becasue once they get the neighborhood going they will still leave ours for last. A branch fell on our main wirse from the transformer to the meter, and pulled it out of teh transformer. The neighborhood had power til this monring, but we couldn;t get them to come out and hook our line back up to the transformer becasue they wer trying to get the problems with the most people out.

Now we are out of water too, becasue apparently the backup generators at the well went down........

I went ot my parents today becasue they still had power, we took showers and did a couple loads of laundry. Got ran off the road once and had to be pulled out on the way there. Same guy that ran me off came back and pulled me out, turned out I knew him. LOL

I've scoured town to try and find a generator, but there are non with in 60 miles. So I went to the evil wal mart and bought a 12v -110 inverter. came out and there was a truck with generators for sale, stopped and they had one for $500.. I was excited, but they didnt take credit cards. I hate being broke........

left there and went to go get gas, came arounda corner and ran into a down wire, I seen it just about teh time we hit it, I slammed on the brakes, but it was to late, it got tangled around the rear axle. Called the police and mean while a guy stopped to see if we were alright, he drove right underneath it, got out and he didnt see it till I pointed it out. he looked and found it was just a cble so I got out we untangled it, then broke it and tied it up one each side off the road.

So we get home, and find out that now the phones are out!!!!
I plugged the inverter into my jump start box, plugged in my DSL modem in the off chance we had internet, and it came up! so plugged the laptop in and here I am.

This will probably be my only post because I need ot make sure it has enough power to make a pot of coffee in the morning.

I'll be back as soon as I can, you guys dont have to much fun with out me.
