OUCH MAN!!! Below the belt! Eh, I guess I'd half to agree with you but I did by mine new when I was 22. I will agree with everyone else, my next truck will surely be a 4x4.

IMO My girly turck beats yours down a dragstrip, up a hill, through a mud puddle and IMO it looks better and sounds better doing it!

Why a 4x4? The look, the ride, the confidence. I've done things in a 2wd that some people wouldn't do in a 4x4. i can't wait to see what I'll do when I finally get a 4x4

To each his own... But let me ask you, if you like the look, ride and confidence(?) Why will you be going to a 4x4? I like your sig BTW.

Thanks, Bill (Wstahlm) made it for me, and I'll be going to a 4x4 because there's some things that I don't want to do in a 2wd, I've been stuck before and it sucks. I like to have the fun, not be the recovery truck. It won't be happening for a few years though, gotta finish college first, or so I keep telling myself.

it was a choice between 4wd and the 5.4 and I chose the 5.4 so I could tow some things. I'll get a 4wd truck sometime down the road but the 4x2 does fine for me with some sand bags in the back in the winter.

I've been fortunate that I haven't needed to go to 4-Hi to pull a boat out of the water since the ramps that I normally launch from don't have that much angle, but I did have to use 4-Hi to take advantage of a really good parking space a couple of times down below the spillway.

I thought I was stuck once while pulling mine out last year, the ramp is steep, but the starter went out on the boat and I had to load it by hand. So I backed the trailer to the end of the concrete which put my rear tires in the water. I was able to get the tires out of the water but as soon as the boat landed on the trailer the wet tires would loose traction. I stuck it in second and slipped the crap out of the tranny belts and was able to get a little further but couldnt get the boat all the way on the trailer and out of the water. Finnaly just hammered it till I seen a little bit of smoke, stopped and then it pulled it on up with no problem once the tires were dry.

Dad's dropped the trailer off the end of the ramp before, but 4-Lo on his '85 S-10 Blazer wouldn't even do the trick. He had to get some guys to tie ropes to the back of the trailer and have them pick up on the trailer while he pulled forward.

I ripped one of my cross braces on my trailer because I droped it off the side of a narrow ramp. Luckily boat wasn't on it so it came up with 2wd just fine. Few zaps with some metal glue and it is new again.

Why is it you never have good luck with your boat?

I wouldn't buy a truck without it.

Dragstrip? It's a truck; not a racecar
Up a hill? I bet I can pull more up said hill
Mud Puddle? Not likely
Looks Better? If you're a woman
Sounds Better? Doubtful.

Wanna climb some boulders? Lets play!
