But as similiar as the KKK and BP's are in many ways, they are different in others and that's why I could not see the reason for the comparison... I agree, neither group has any redeemable values. We have debated on a lot, and agreed on a lot; it's good to know we have earned each others respect.

Josiah: Go have a drink (If you're old enough) and relax dude. So, I'm a biggot? I kept waiting for you to make your point with your retalitory "strike" against me... What point did you bring forth that was "slapping me in the face"? Nevermind, this thread is starting to cool down, no point in heating it back up. Afterall, opinions are like arsewholes, aren't they? If you are as intelligent as you say you are, then surely you see that I have stated time and again that I don't side with the BP's. But it seems with you, it's not what I'm saying, its what I'm not saying, or implying... Jeez, a guy takes a psychology course and all of a sudden he's Sigmund Freud.

If you're gonna lump me in with them (BP's) because I'm black, then surely you are associated with the Klan because you're (probably) white. That logic seems pretty illogical, doesn't it? I agree.

Rochester: I think you got me twisted too, but that's the thing about writing, people are free to extrapolate whatever they wish from a passage, and have it mean what they want it to mean. That's probably why we have so many "Christian" religions in the world. They all read the same book, but walked away with different interpretations.

I can assure you, there is not a racist bone in my body. I harbor no resentment of Caucasians, Asians, Hispanics, or any other culture. I'm cool with everyone that's cool with me, and I lose no sleep worrying about the ones that hate me.

98Navi: Well, what else can I say that hasn't been said already?
************************************

Round 2 anyone? Lets debate on something not as devisive as race... Democrats versus Republicans? Liberals versus Conservatives? Immigration reform?
I keeping my mouth shut! Not about to debate a 300 lb black dude that will wear a skirt. How are you Hersh? You handled that well, BTW.

“Don’t fool myself”, ha, I know exactly who I am and what I believe. As far education....oh nevermind, not worth my time. Don’t worry about me I’m going back to the 04-06 forums where I belong. I thought I would venture over here to check it out, maybe get to know some of you better. Nope, not any more. I’m sure 99% of the people on this board are great people, but I’m not going to listen to this garbage about “I believe this” but…….. and then you excuse the actions of a hate group because you think they are "only talking" and not doing. You are obviously stating one thing and believing another. You wonder what continues unfair treatment of groups of people in this country? It is people like you who pigeonhole people like me into your conspiracy theories against other groups of people. Which is exactly what this and your first post did. See ya….

Josiah, see you in the 04-06 forums.

God Bless America!
I am in the same boat as you, I never venture this far down the forum list, what was I thinking. I do not want things to get anymore heated than they have been. Hersh, when did I ever associate you as a member of the BP.

I said all I need to say in my last post. Take care.

Double standard? As if the Klan is right, and being oppressed...
That's so expected of (some of) you guys on this site...

I never expected such bulls**t to come from 01XLTSport though; a guy that, until today, I thought could see the forest and the trees. That has surprised me, but, for the rest of you guys...

I knew it...

Not that you'll find me at any black panter party rally's, (because you won't) but the difference is huge. The only similiarity is that there's a bunch of people, from the same race, that think their stance on humanity deserves a voice. That's pretty much where the similiarities end...

Ask yourself this: If the FBI damn-near eliminated the Black Panther party in the 1960's; why then is the Klu Klux Klan still around? They must have friends in high, or low places...
I've been tip-toeing by this thread with the intension of never opening it; but, curiosity got the better of me. I don't have much sympathy for the Black Panthers, their tactics, their antics, or their positions; but, they are a far cry from being comparable to the KKK.

Shouldn't an election be for the best canidate, not the less of two evils? Other than the current Pres, when have we really had a decent choice?

I didn't think Kerry could (would've) done any worse, but- I never thought GWB was the best choice, not in 1999, and not today. Even though when he upset Ann Richards here in Texas, I knew his next stop was the white house; name recognition... Hell, Jeb Bush could win, or come damn-close, simply based on name recognition, and a strong "Pro-Republican" stance in this country.

It's a damn shame that Bush & Kerry were the top/best choices we could put on the field in 2004, across this great country of nearly 300 million people.

I'm sure there's a CEO of a major corporation somewhere, with a knack for kicking *** when it needs to be, that has enough spit & polish to handle that job...

I just want to be the Secretary of Defense.

I want to authorize covert military strikes, and blow shyt up; but, more than that, I want to "not" sign off on BS that will get our boy & girls killed, over BS, or half-*** approaches to getting 'er done...

We've got elections to get through this year. There is a lot of tension and a lot more people will be paying attention this year. What happens this year will undoubtedly have a huge impact on what happens in '08.
