It is Black & White even though it was made in 1962, artistic reasons?

Anyway, I moved it to the top of my list, Best Western ever made.
It was good, but not that good. has anyone mentioned the original "Alamo"?

The Alamo couldn't carry Liberty's jock strap.

First, you assumed I was comparing the two, which I was not, secondly, had I been, anything John Wayne is better than anything Jimmy Stewart, thirdly, Liberty had no jockstrap.

maybe it is not truely a western, but there was a great Cival War movie, I think the name was Shenendoah, maybe. Starred Jimmy Stewart. He had one of the great lines of all time when they were trying to take his sons off to fight, he said "Whare was the govemint when we needed a spare tat around hayre."

Good post, nice to see all your ideas. I love westerns. But I can't pick just one. My favorites are from certain actors: All Clint Eastwoods westerns and Charles Bronson. I didn't really care for the Duke. I know I know I'll get the what for because I'm into into the Duke, but it seems to me you either like the Duke or Clint. I go twards Clint.

One off the top of my head i have yet to see listed is one of Charles Bronson's movies: The White Buffalo. I seen it as a kid and have never for got it. I never see it on TNT but its worth renting!!

First, you assumed I was serious, which I was not, secondly, Liberty is both a John Wayne & Jimmy Stewart movie with Lee Marvin thrown in, thirdly, I don't have a thirdly but, if in I did it would be a humdinger.

You're just too quick, Blue.
You leave me no choice but to hide behind a tumbleweed and shoot you in the back.

Sincerely,
Raoul the bushwacker
