Best Westerns of all time

Ok so I'm relatively young (30) and have seen a number of great westerns but I'm curious as to what ya'll have as some greats..(not going to do a one favorite thing)

Some of mine are:

Unforgiven
Open Range
Good Bad Ugly
Shootist
The Magnificent Seven

So what have I forgotten or missed...that I should see...

(note: this thread even you old goats can participate cause black & white is ok too )

Now you went and done it. Black and White, eh?

High Noon Gary Cooper, Lloyd Bridges(4 Oscars, Nominated Best Picture 1953)

Hombre[color] Paul Newman, Richard Boone

Nevada Smith Steve McQueen, Karl Maldon

Once Upon the Time in the West[color] Charles Bronson, Henry Fonda
(Fonda made over 100 movies, he said this was his favorite and his favorite role, I'd say he was damn good in it)

The Naked Spur Jimmy Stewart, Robert Ryan (1 Oscar Nomination 1954)

It came out when I was at Fort Knox waiting for our Basic Training cycle to begin.
We had purchased tickets and about one third through the movie when the House Lights came up and my Company was summoned outside where our DIs were waiting.

(and we didn't even get a stinking Refund)

If you are fond of them then you were born too late.
Here is television in the 'Good ole Days'....

The Cisco Kid...Duncan Renaldo ('oh Cisco'......'oh Pauncho')
Gunsmoke...James Arness (interesting trivia about opening theme)
Cheyenne...Clint Walker (I rolled my sleeves just like him)
Sugarfoot...Will Hutchins (can't get that theme outa my head)
Bronco...Ty Hardin (made the chin strap 'cool')
Have Gun Will Travel...Richard Boone (loved this one)
Wagon Train...John McIntire (rememder the cook?)
Maverick...James Garner (the Brad Pitt of the sixties)
Wanted Dead Or Alive...Steve McQueen (big star, small screen)
The Rifleman...Chuck Conners (not my favorite, he called his kid, 'boy')
Rawhide...Eric Fleming (clint before he was Clint)
Bonanza...Loren Greene (whole family gone now)
The Westerner...Brian Keith (later worked with 'Mr French')
The Virginian...James Drury (also a young Doug McClure)
Big Valley...Barbara Stanwyck (i consider it a 'modern' western)
Daniel Boone...Fess Parker (wasn't he Davey Crockett too?)
Branded...Chuck Conners (kicked outa the Fort every week)
Laredo...Neville Brand (Neville had a voice like sandpaper)

I've seen a few of those you mentioned and liked them (particularly Maverick).

I know my favorite show of all time (this is one of those's favorites I can answer" is The Andy Griffith show. Hands down my favorite.

Andy Griffen Show was great. I see those old episodes and see Ron Howard, then see American Graffitti and how he was at late teens, then see him now. Time has passed in a hurry!
