Just watched MSN Video of an interview with Simon Cowell. He predicted that the final two would be Chris and Taylor. Guess he was wrong with all the rest of us. I am honestly still in shock over this. Chris appeared that way too. I hated watching his face during the clip of his journey with Idol. Oh well, guess I better get over it. I'll just have to go see in him in concert with Absent Element, now that they'll make it big. So everybody, listen for their songs to start playing on the radio now. Idol can't hold them back anymore.

Just watched it......

Yep AI's over for this year. I might watch the recorded espisodes, just to see what Taylor does. This will be a good thing for Chris. 2nd would have been nice just to make a show out of it though.

Well since I didn't vote, I can't complain. Just know that I'm very upset . Oh well, I know he'll succeed in the music industry. His cd will be the first cd in 6 years that I will not download, I will purchase it.

Guys and gals who were fans of Chris: this was the best thing that could happen to him. Had he made the top two, he would have been contractually obligated to sign with the production company of the show, just as the winner does. He would then be fed the songs that were to be recorded. I can assure you that he would not have done that album with his band, Absent Element. And, it wouldn't have been the rock style that his band plays.

Now, he can get in the studio with HIS band, record the album THEY want, and do it on their OWN terms. There are offers already rolling in I'd say, wanting to cash in on his current marketability and status. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if another recording company offered the show X amount of money for the "rights" to Chris. Singers are merely a commodity to these companies, so the highest bidder gets what it wants.

Be thankful he didn't make the final two, or God forbid, win. This will be much better in the long run, I promise.

I've got to tell you, never before in Idol history have I seen so much shock about a contestant being eliminated. I'm hearing it all over too. Television, internet and radio stations. Seems like Fox may be losing quite a few American Idol viewers.

Well LT, you never know, maybe they'll bring him back for a "guest appearance" just to keep the ratings up.

nah, just lurking.....Sometimes it's best to just keep my mouth shut in some situations.

I have found that it's more informative (and entertaining) to listen to the rest of the gang argue and fight over silly stuff.

Once they hit the top 5, we should be able to vote for the person we want to see leave instead of our favorite.
