Amazing how there are 3 07 tundra threads on page 1 of the 04-06 F150 forum. The 07 tundra in a few words, ugly as #%@*. On second thought I think this may sum it up better... The 2007 Toyota Tundra kind of looks like some iillegitimate offspring of nearly all full size trucks combined, and not in a good way, more or less in kind of a frankenstein way.
Okay now having said that this thread and the other half dozen like it don't really meet the criteria for the forum, A 2007 Toyota Tundra is not an F150, and furthermore is not even the correct year for the forum (count with me 2004, 2005, and 2006, notice what is missing? Thats right 2007).

I dont like it, but Im sure it will be a pretty good truck.

I have a cousin who has owned a tacoma and a tundra both new. The tacoma was awesome for him for everything he tried. The Tundra was nothing but trouble. he is driving the toyota suv now and loves it. They are very dependable vehicles top to bottom.

When I was truck shopping I didn't drive an import. My wife has an accord, but I just cannot imagine driving a foreign truck. Nissan or Toyota tough just sounds wrong.

Trying to get rid of the honda and convince her she needs a fusion or some sort of american built car, but I think she wants a mazda 6 (which is MI built, but they rest of ther vehicles are not except for the Bseries pickup which is a Ranger with different badging).

Merged.

Please post threads in their appropriate forum. A Tundra/Titan/Silverado/Ram/ETC thread isn't an 04+ F-150 topic.

OK 2 points:

- The Nissan Titan debuted exsactly the same time as the current F-150 and they both had the floor shifter at the show. So even as far as full size trucks go, we don't "own that" (NAIAS/Detroit Jan '03)

- I've read every single report on this new Tundra and nowhere does it say it will have 380 hp. One report said 300+ and the other speculated it would be between 330 - 350. But no where did it say 380. So Either someone works for Toyota, or they are full of it. I suspect the later.

If you were refering to my post I was just going by what someone said earlier or at least I think some one said that earlier. Just didn't have the time to waste reading 8 pages of crap about a truck I would never own. Will change that on my other post though.

Wasn't really referring to anyone in particular. Just didn't want anyone thinking that the 380 was a fact...

I'll bet that it will be a good bit heavier than the older Tundra. Looks like another Japanese truck to me......I'll stick with my F-150

For some reason Toyota starts out with a decent looking vehicle and as each new year is introdced they seem to get uglier and uglier. Look what they did with the 4 Runner!

They even went with the floor shifter. This is without a doubt the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen. I don't like one thing about it.

It is shaped like a dodge but it's far uglier. Dodges really aren't that bad.

OOppps, I just found the other thread on this, which started as two threads. Sorry.

This truck is still ugly.
