I saw the Ford steering wheel, like you are talking about, on the 'Stories' part of the new Tundra website...didn't really make much sense to me.

I don't like the front all that much, but the rear-side 3/4 view is very nice looking.

The interior is a bit ugly with that aluminum driver's side trim but all black trim on the middle and passenger side doesn't seem to match right.

Overall, I have to see it in person. From my experience with Toyota trucks, they seem to last forever with little to no problems, so this should be a good truck for them. As for me, I still prefer my FX4 Screw (for now).

Well, for the guys that dont like the styling you're in luck, the only thing you will have to worry about looking at are the tailights. You can count on 5.7liters from Toyota will def deliver the power with reliability to match.
LOL So true Silverbullet. I couldn't agree with you more.

To be honest Id rather have a reliable truck that lasts and put up with some minor cosmetic differences than have a truck that looks good but is in the shop half the time I own it and costs me twice over. We sound like women being so superficial and all, Im not gonna nitpick a trim piece or side mirror(after all, we have no room to talk about ugly side mirrors) when the truck is more reliable and powerful in general. Im a man, I want HP/TRQ and something that will run no matter what, not a high maintenance showroom queen.

So you are saying that Ford was the originator of the console shifter and flow through console????? Please.

Every idea is in some form derived from another previous idea.

You sound like a broken record...you're hoping that they will have problems so you can tell everybody "I told you so"

I still think it looks like a turd.... .... Not trying to give anyone a hard time, Just giving my $ .02.

I like the Tundra and the quality that will come along with it. I don't believe in brand loyalty and my money will go with a quality vehicle that gives me more for my dollar. I like my truck and the way it looks. I'm a little disapointed in the Engine and powertrain, but it still an overall great Truck. Chevy, Dodge, Nissan and Toyota all have their strengths but Ford is a jack of all trades but master of none when it come to our trucks.

I say Keep an open mind and prioritize what's important to you ( towing, comfort, looks etc.) Just Test drive everything and go with your gut!
