That video was too cool. 
He made one helluva pass, but got a really crappy launch.... Needs to work on his racing skills IMHO.

Little harder on the clutch and a little less gas on the shifts from second gear on and he'd probably gain a few 10ths and wouldnt have been pushing the boost in the high RPMS. But he said that he made 35 passes so that says something for who ever built that motor and lasting that long being drivin' that way.
Personally I dont clutch to shift in a race. Barely lift the gas. That's why I go thru transmissions, not engines.

When I was a kid, having a big block something or other was the thing you aspired to. Nowadays, the kids want a Civic with a 6" tailpipe??? No wonder I don't understand kids these days... I'd rather have an 87 Monte SS with the stock 305 than ANY FWD econo box.
