Taxes, welfare recipients, and homeless people...

Paying taxes really gets on my nerves as well as lazy people who decide to become victims on thier own, or otherwise known as homeless and welfare recipients...

Other then that, at least for the moment, I'm good...

WOW

I knew I would get a few flames, But I figured most people would agree with me???

The only guy I seem to be on the same wave length with is 70 year old fart from Canada. RJ sounds a bit off???? God I hope you guys dont think I'm mental or any thing?

You DO have better visibility with fog lights on regardless of weather condition so any argument that fog lights are only relevant in fog is complete BS and a myth…
You also have better visibility with your brights on, why dont you just drive around with them on all the time???

I never said they werent realevant, they just arent needed and cause alot of glare to other drivers. Its like a school bus with the blinking strobe on top. In the fog its very usefull. If they drove around in clear weather with that strobe light blinking away, that would get pretty damn annoying.

Since truck drivers sit much higher then normal vehicles I don't understand any argument that fog lights blinding them can be a problem...
We sit about 5 - 6 feet higher, but on a car 300 feet away, thats not going to make much difference. Besides, If you had a mirrors 18x6 inches across with 4 other spot mirrors flashing that back into your face you would understand how annoying it is to had an idiot like that behind you. And its completely pointless. I mean, hes right on your *** with those spot lights shining in your face.....like he cant see the back of my truck with out them.

Look, there are alot of cars and trucks that use them and they dont do much. But I have had some cars come up behind me with fog lights so bright, That my truck is actually casting a shadow in front of me???

Theres some thing wrong with that????

I drive for a living as well. If you like to run with your fog lights on, at all times. Fine. Just make sure they are adjusted properly and that the ground isn't wet with good visability. If you blind me, I WILL blind you back. Semi highbeams are very effective.

I have factory fog lights that are used only in fog, or heavy rain. My friend, who also has a Lightning, runs his whenever the lights are on. To each his own. I never mention it to him. He has made comment to me that my fogs should not have cracks in them, since I never use them. Stock Lightning fogs are crap.

Those are driving lights.

Fog light cast a low power flood right infront of the vehicle. 15' ahead and thats if they are out of alighnment or if they are mis mounted. Fog lights are suppose to be mounted low and to the middle of the vehicle for short distance of visability driving conditions.

By law in most states you are not suppose to have more than 55 watt of auxilary driving lights at any time on the road. But they have engineered Driving light housing that cast pen beams straight ahead for almost 2 miles ahead on 55 watt bulbs. They are worse than high beams and people do tend to drive with them on all the time not thinking about it being a high concentrated beam of light.

That I can see a viable complaint.
But with fog lights having low power and short beams they are utterly harmless.

I thought that a FOG light was amber or yellow not clear like we have stock on our trucks. So would they not be called driving lights?

Btw driving with your park lights and fog/driving lights on does make you cool.

Red, those are driving lights that you have. Fog lights can be clear and are a sperate OEM option in addition to oe sperate from driving lights. Factory mounted fog lights are ussually mounted below the bumper and on each side of the license plate.

Where I have lived fog lights are only allowed by law to be on with the low beams while driving lights are only allowed with the high beams. This would make the aux lights on ours fog lights no matter what the color lens since they are wired in with the low beam headlight switch.

Ford calls the lights in the bumper " fog " lights. it's on the window sticker
under stock equipment exterior..
They do in fact help when used on a dark cold rainy a/o foggy day a/o
night. When used during the day ( dark and gloomy of course ) they do in fact
look good, and there's absolutely no way they can be blinding anyone at anytime if they are actually set up right. Now if someone has them pointed too light up the sky then I could see someones rant making sense, otherwise
in my town guys use them ALL the time when possible. I also use my parking
lights in bright sunshiny daylight for profiling purposes when the truck is so
fresh and so clean .... Profiling your rad truck is the thing 'round here......
( Ya it is )

ahhhhhhh yous guys .......

I don't mind people using their front fog lights, it's it rear fog lights that I hate.
It's like red hi-beams. My brights go on when I'm behind these idiots.
