Those who think that to fight for your beliefs, religion or freedom is terrorism!!! So what! Your thoughts will not be facts! The facts are in the history.

That one's not written in stone.

McVeigh was an anti-government extremist, with a long background in the survivalist movement. He was known to be a keen reader of the controversial book The Turner Diaries, which describes similar acts of terrorism to the one he perpetrated. Photocopies of pages sixty-one and sixty-two of the novel were found in an envelope inside McVeigh's car. These pages depicted a fictitious mortar attack upon the US Capitol in Washington.

Some investigators contend that Timothy McVeigh and his accomplice Terry Nichols had ties to Islamic terrorism through Ramzi Yousef, a militant who planned the 1993 WTC Bombing, and through a series of meetings with Islamic terror group Abu Sayyaf members in the Philippines. Others suggest he had ties to a radical Christian Identity group called Elohim City near Muldrow, Oklahoma.

I just haven't seen anything worth commenting on for a while.

What people don't get is that this is more politics than religion. The problem is that religion is so intricately tied into the daily lives of Muslims, that it floods heavily over into their political views. Many Christians can be accused of the same; but, most are more laissez-faire about their faith.

Western culture threatens to turn the world of the Middle-Eastern Muslim upside down. Their leaders, political tyrants and religious extremists, fear losing power and privilege to a more individual minded citizenry. Their world is changing quickly; and, acceptance or adaptation are not options they are willing to explore... Yet.

I believe that they lead their lives in extremes of right and wrong (black or white) as compared to many many shades of grey like in the United States. And I agree with the previous post that they see the world around them changing and they are dead-set to prevent that from happening in their country.
