If you want to change it, simply go to the black bar at the top of the page and click on " User CP". then click "edit profile" Change whatever you want, then click "save changes" at the bottom of the page and presto! All done.

Maybe something like "Gods' Warrior" or " Christian Soldier" or something as these seem to suit your style. Just a thought....

Let me see if I can answer you in a more tactful way. To answer your question in a nutshell... Yes, according to the Bible something similar to that is suppose to happen. Not necesarily in that order and there are several other things that are said to occur too. According to Biblical teachings there is suppose to be wars, rumors of wars, and turmoil at all 4 corners of teh earth, then a world war centered on the soil of Gods choosen people (possiably Jeruselum), then the rise of the Anti-Christ, Which then brings 7 years of peace, then the second coming, then the Marriage supper of the lamb, Then the "Rapture", then Armegeddon. Plus a few other things before during and after too. It requires many many hours pouring over and studying, not just reading but studying the Bible to understand what, where, how, and why. The only thing that is not told in scripture is the day or the hour that any of this is going to occur. So if anyone claims to know when this is going to take place then you immediatly know that they are a false profit.

If anyone would like to discuss this more with me then feel free to e-mail me and I am more than willing to share my studies and probably even some of my beliefs too. I ussally refrain from barfing scripture out unless specifically asked where the passage is. But I will never shove it down anyones throat or stick it in thier face. But if you ask for supporting scripture then be prepared because it is never one liners that could be taken out of context from this book or that book... You have been for warned. LOL

Thanks for the reply even though the question was meant for M.W. As you may have surmised, I'm having fun going back and forth with him. Your posts are well thought out and expressed and I sincerely respect your and everyone elses faiths and beliefs. Believe it or not, I have read the bible, even though I'm a godless heathen and heretic,LOL, as well as other books along a similar vein. I've also done my share of studying other beliefs such as Hinduism, Budhism, Zen Budhism, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainance(I'm a rider after all!),Wicca, Brahmism and on and on.
Since it's been well over 20 years since I last perused the Good Book, I don't think I want to get into too heavy a theological debate with you unless I go back and give myself a real good refresher! I like to go into my debates reasonably well armed.

That said, what I don't like is, someone who takes the snippets of the bible and twists them to suit their narrow point of view and tries to shove them down my throat in a condescending, arrogant and dismissive manner. I'll get in their face and push right back! I do try to keep it reasonably respectful though, touched with what I hope is a dose of sarcastic humor. Others may not see it that way, but, oh well, that's life. I try real hard to stay away from the name calling, though if someone jabs me I tend to jab right back. Fortunately, you don't seem to be like that and I respect you for it. Have you seen Burt and I go back and forth about politics occasionally? It can get pretty intense sometimes, but, I can tell you we're both sitting at our keyboards chuckling. I respect his viewpoint and rarely agree with it and he's the same with me.

Anyhow, this post is getting kinda long and windy, so I'll conclude by saying this;

Respect gets respect in return. Disdain garners the same!

Ahh yes... I too am some what aware of the teachings of these books....

A fair share of hogs blood has been spilt in my driveway over the years, and some has known to be offered as sacrafice so that others shall live.

Mr Whitey, I will do my best to extend some courtesy and respect towards you, even though you afford this to no one else. If I go astray, please forgive me. Perhaps you have been condesending for so long that you don't realize it any more. You don't come out and say "I am great", but you insult every opinion and feeling that differs from your own. I am not going to discuss any religious aspects with you, you obviously feel that you know everything there is to know about the Bible and what God wants, it must be nice to be so blessed that you hve nothing left to learn. I do not leave God out of the picture, and I don't feel that most followers do either (followers of God that is, Christian's and Jews), yet because they and I don't get the same message from the Bible that you do, you say they are wrong. Also, not all of America even reads our book, many follow other religions. I respect their decision, even though I think they are wrong. I would be seriously offended if a Buhddist tried to convert me, so I won't do it to him. People take their religion, or lack of, very seriously, it's a choice they've made, and like you, people expect a little respect. Rednecks for Jesus are some of the most offensive people in the US today. If you think that your attitude will bring more people to follow Christ, you're very wrong. Jesus spread his word with love, not by talking down to people. You're not too many steps away from Fred Phelps, and he thinks God hates people. You and Fred both make strong, rude statements, tell everyone they are going to hell, and then use the bible to backup what they are saying, you have no respect for the fact that many follow Christ, but do it in a different way from you. I'm quite sure that an all-knowing, ever powerful person as yourself will consider any criticism to be nothing, but there it is.

Have you not read in Matthew 23:29-33 ... Jesus , talking to the
Pharisees and Scribes ( The false teachers and hypocrites of that day,
that was sending souls to Hell with their false doctrine ) He called them
in verse 33 ... Ye serpents , ye generation of vipers , how can you
escape the damnation of hell ?

I will also remind you that the red letter words in your bible that Jesus
spoke , are no more or less the word of God than the rest.

I never cease to be amazed at the members of this board. You guys always seem to find "caged" humanoids and you always poke sticks through the cage to enrage said beast. I stand in awe of your bravery, insightfulness, knowledge, and, and, and....... HUMOR!

Another conquest as the once Mighty Whitey slinks back to a neutral corner to lick his wounds and find consolation in the Bible as he knows it. (For there is hope in the Bible for all. Just look and you will find a passage that supports your needs.)
