I keep wanting to reply to this thread. However when someone talks about their views on Christianity and then says something like this, it is hard to reason.

Homosexuality=Sin. Bottom line

To be saved a person must realize that each and every one of us are sinners, repent of their sin, and ask God to forgive them of their sin. Then our sin is removed as far as the east is from the west.

The Bible is the ultimate authority. Every single word of it is the Truth.

 

Jesus said in Matt. 10:34 ... I am came not to send peace, but a sword.

Luke 22:36 ... he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

My bible teaches that Jesus found no sin in owning a weapon.

Well, the only unpardonable sin is the sin of unbeleif. Bottom line. A lost man doesn't need to be convinced that homosexuality is a sin, because he is lost. A person can argue about what's right and wrong, but at the end of the day (which is probably really soon) all that's going to matter is the lamb's book of life. To all out there: The Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost! Understand that and we'll talk.

There is no such thing as a worse sin. All sin is equal in God's eyes. If you look at a woman other than your wife in lust with thoughts of sexual acts you would like to perform. (I raise my hand admitting my guilt here.) Then that is as bad as if you killed someone, raped your daughter, or anything else. You can't get into heaven that way.

But no, the bible says nothing about homosexuality being wrong...

Leviticus 20 has most of the do's and dont's for Sexual conduct all wrapped up in a nice liitle chapter.

My King James, NIV, and Living Bible all mention many acts that if they are not repented for then will send you to hell. Read Leviticus especially chapter 20 and in any interpretaion and I'm pretty sure that if the book states that you should be put to death for those acts... Then that's not a free ticket for a fast & early trip to heaven for those who participated.
