Electric "air" horns?
I'm looking for a electric air horn anyone here have one that they recommend?

Requirements:
Loud as hell
no air source needed
Must be able to kill old people & make small children cry within quarter mile radius. (optional)
Was thinking about getting my cousin one for his 4x4, but now I'm interested in one as well.. lol

I bought a cheap air horn from Walmart on my Grand cherokee. I used the horn so much it finally died. the air horn is nice and LOUD. you can see people flinch when I hit it. There are 2 horns and they are both under the front bumper cover pointing down.

I have always yanked the stock horns on my bikes, and used Fiamm horns ( stock on my '77 BMW R100RS/7 years ago )
You could try the Fiamm K-100 RoadThunder Horn.
Don't bother with the Bosch Electric ones, they sound like a 1982 Mercedes horn ( that tinty German horn of years ago ).
I thought the stock horns on the Ford were the Fiam high and low note, in the 125 dB range, so the RoadThunder horns are only going to be marginally louder.
If you want much louder then stock, you might be stuck going to a air system to get the higher dB levels then 134.

Nah, I would never, ever, ever, ever use a loud horn to scare an elderly person.

I have been involved with two vehicles that had ACTUAL Train horns installed on them!!
To this day, I swear it was the most fun Toy I have ever had the opportunity to play with...(cruising the strip in Daytona during Spring Break helped the FUn Factor a little... )
They make people jump straight up in the air, like in cartoons!
I did hear that it is a bad idea to light 'em up near a RR crossing if there is a big truck approaching...

I just never trusted those, would love to hear some in person if they really are worth it, other wise I think someday I'm just gonna buy some of these for the hell of it, mount them in the bed, and maybe scare the hell out of a few tailgaters.
