Which one did you end up getting clonetek?

After reading this thread, I caught the bug and bought one too. Together with my stock horns, it sure is loud & obnoxious.

This is the one I got STEBEL COMPACT AIRHORN

Hey guys, I have been looking into getting one as well. Is the horn you got low pitch or is it still the "beep beep"? You wouldn't happen to know the frequency of the high and low would you? I can gauge from there what it sounds like.

Where did you mount it?

The stock horns are located on the passenger side. I mounted my new horn on the driver side in the general location the stock horns were mounted on the opposite side.

Fundamental frequency – 530 / 680 Hz
Type of sound – harmonized twin tone

I mounted mine in the same place! lol

Went to Vatozone & got a cheap horn button & mounted it on the floor. I didn't wire the relay up for the horn since i have 2 separate horn systems now.

I'll try to get a short vid of the sound when this rain decides to let up.

I think it sounds like a Exotic car horn (ie ferrari)... only a LOT louder!

I put the 18dollar harbor freight honkers in the 88 bronco on saturday. Not make people jump loud, but still pretty cool. This is how I wired it.

I cut the OEM wire to the horn, and ran it back into the cab into the center of a SPDT switch. Then from the switch back to the OEM horns. Prolly a little bit of a loss there, but I don't plan on using them much. The other side of the switch was run to a single pole normaly open relay. The relay then can send fused 30 amps right to the horn motor/blower.

No. That is just the air horn by itself.
I have the air horn hooked up to a foot switch. It is independent of the stock horn.

I got the whole shebang working off my steering wheel (OEM & Stebel Nautilus) but the air horn does have its own independent fussed power source

It has a nice little kick to it but I use it sparingly with discretion

JP, excellent mounting location. Looks like plenty of room.
