Who do you think gave us the technology and ability to save people,keep them alive,heart bypasses,treat pneumonia,etc. Who guides the hands of our physicians? God didnt try to kill her 15yrs ago. He has a reason for everything. Do any of you have family that their lives have been extended by medicine or surgery? Or did you let them die from a case of the flu or pneumonia? Man did and does nothing without god letting him. Id hate to be in some of your shoes. I feel sorry for you. Like I said, A opinion is one thing but joking about pillows and starving and lethal injection. YOU ARE WRONG. You say you wouldnt want to live like that? My friend when you are faced with death you might be surprised at the decisions you would make and begging that you would do. Its easy to sit back and laugh and joke and make fun of something you dont understand or have compassion for. It takes a cold hearted person to joke about a life like some of you are doing. Im not perfect but I dont joke about killing people or pulling life line plugs either. I dont know how some of you people can claim you love anyone. We can keep murderers and rapists on death row for 30 yrs or life in prison taking care of them but lets kill this poor innocent woman and detroy her family right?

Actually it takes a strong person to make tough decisions like this... cowards cry and don't want change. There comes a time to suck it up and face the pain. The parents are selfish bastards that don't want to face the truth. No parent wants to bury their kid but sh*t happens.

hey seven post soap box superstar, Maybe you deserve to be like that for 15 years, if you are aware of your situation you would have to be nuts not to want to move on and if you were not aware then guess what you are dead already, your body just does not know it. You know what is worse than people making morbid jokes about this is hypocritical self righteous lawmakers using this tortured woman for partisan politics. By the way, good marriages should be just as strong as parent/ child bonds and from my point of view, 15 years of trying and hoping seems like her husband has proven his devotion. The fact that he wants terri to move on to what is next shows me he cares more about her than her parents who want her to be there in that state so they don't have to grieve and let go. I hope that if my parents ever had this choice to make that they would be strong enough to do what is best for me and to deal with their loss and pain.

I told my wife, my aunt (whom adopted me when I was younger), my mom, coworkers etc exactly what I said earlier. It'sa sad situation all the way around, but as my step dad used to say, 'Sometimes you have to be a man". To do nothing is weak and selfish. If YOU are such a Christian then you ought to believe that regardless of what happens to her husband or parents she'll be living on, eternal in the heavens. You have no right passing YOUR effed up judgement on anyone here for their beliefs. In fact 'Christians' like you **** me off to no end and make me ashamed to be associated with you on occasion. So pray for me and my sins if you wish, I need all I can get, but you're missing the bigger picture.
