Star Wars: Episode III Spoliers

This promises to be the darkest and most violent Star Wars to date, according to the announcers on last weeks 3-minute trailer.

We all know Anakin has the killer instinct as he made short work of those folks that killed his mom; and liked it. (Who wouldn't have?)

Anyhoo, there are some spoiler websites out there, but I haven't peeked in. I figure it took someone pretty good with a light sabre to kick Anakin's butt, and brign him to the brink of death so he'd need Vader's suit & helment to live. Since Count Dookoo already pimped him and Obi Wan; it makes no sense to see that twice. Perhaps Darth Maul will return as a clone to lend more violence to the theme?

What have you heard; what do you think?

I guess it's safe to assume that all the remaining Jedi are taken out- to include Master Windu; with the exception of Yoda.

Man; this is gonna be good. I just hope it's not cheesy like Episode II was...

From what Ive heard about it, Anakin is knocked into like a lava pit by Obi Wan and then got the suit. I believe it is Senator Palpatine and Anakin that wipe out the Jedis, and Anakin bones some chick to have Luke.

I couldn't resist and peaked. Honestly I wouldn't say that some spoilers where released, the whole movie was released.

It will deliver on that aspect. There will still be many loose ends that the die hard fans will be dissapointed about. But if stands up to what I read I will end up rating it below ESB.

Yee Ha....a topic I love.

Yea Vader is knocked into a pit of Lava. If you read the book Splinter of the Mind's Eye it details how Vader was created.

Amadala is indeed the mother of both Luke and Leia, and hides the existence of Leia from Anakin.

The reason Anakin was defeated was his inexperience in the force and he was facing close to a Sith Lord. In Episode 3 Anakin learns the ways of the Dark side of the force. The dark side is easy to become powerful in but because you become so powerful so quickly it corrupts you, thus the rapid change of Palpatine once he begins to fully wield he dark side powers.

Yea all Jedi save Yoda and Obi-wan are destroyed.

So what else you want to know? I won't go to most sites, the spoilers will kill it for you. I already know the general plot line because of the books and history but the specifics are better left to experience first hand.

Come on MAY.

"The ability to destroy a planet is insiginificant next to the power of the Force"

Well I think 1 was the worst and except for a few great scenes...2 pretty well stunk to.

Nothing like the originals....

Who could forget teh opening scene of Episode 4 with that Star Destroyer coming in over the top of you head.

Wow....

If I had to rate them, it'd be:

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Awesome, slow out the gate, but a constant build)
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes back (The cut-off kinda reminds me of the hack job on Matrix: Reloaded, otherwise this would be #1 in my book)
Star Wars: Opening scene still the best in movie history; then super-slow, but a great ending.
Star Wars: Episode I (Jar-Jar & cheesy ships ruined the movie for me. The only good thing about this movie was Darth Maul)
Star Wars: Episode II (Nuff said- didn't get good until Dooku started kicking butt, and we saw Yoda in action- otherwise this movie ws boo-tay)

someone please explain this to me....

Anakin/Vader sends his son to live with his step-brother.... and never comes to get him or even train him. Luke doesn't start learning about the force until he's what? 18 or so?

And of all the places for Obi-Wan to hide... around the corner from Vaders son.

HELLOOOOOO.... Mr Lucas you should have thought that one ut a little more.

I saw the whole thing in a 80-pic storyboard somewhere.

George could have done so much more with this movie franchise. But with 16 years between Episode 6 and Episode 1, then 3 years between movies- it's easy to lose interest- not to mention the effect time would have on some familiar faces...

How could the empire come to an end with the death of the Emporer and Vader? We're talking about the Empire people! So you lost two death stars, big deal- you still have a fleet of Star Destroyers; you still have a chain of command- you just lost the President and the top general. Heck, even the United States could rally back from a loss like that and would probably never miss a beat.

I guess they needed the Sith in order to maintain.

It's a darn shame that two Sith caused the death of all the Jedi..

I guess there is more power in the dark side.
It's probably safe to assume that Vader was running things for 18 - 24 years as Sidious' sidekick.

Funny- if Darth Sidious was so in tune with the force, then he should have known that Vader knew (And had even considered) that he & Luke could over-throw him; and just take Vader out.

Oh well, we'll never know now- because if George waits 16 more years to do 7, 8 & 9 he'll probably die of old age before he can complete them- or, we probably will....
