I am finally starting to get really pi$$ed at these gas prices. I keep paying a new record high for me every week. Yesterday it was $2.479/gal. It cost me $45.00 for 18.152 gallons. I can't imagine it staying far above $2.00 forever. I hate the fact that they rape you at $2.40 for so long then if it goes down to $2.25, you think, "What a bargain!" Except it's not because a year ago at this time I was paying $1.25.

I keep wondering when/if it will become more cost effective to buy a used 30mpg vehicle to drive to and from work every day (50 miles round-trip). I wonder if the prices will go down soon after, and I don't really want to be stuck with a p.o.s. when they do.

If Hugo Chavez starts screwing with us, there's going to be more problems. He owns Citgo by the way and controls 8% of the US oil imports. I am quite annoyed that our government doesn't do anything about us getting the shaft with these oil prices.

Gas here has been 2.479 for like a week! I'm shocked!!! every day I see it and it's still 2.479 I keep waiting for like 3.159 or something terribly crappy but I'm glad it isn't going up that high or I'd chit my pants! and Of course like right after I got my truck gas jumped like insanely high! lol

Wow that seems cheap.. here in Calf we're paying close to $3.00 if things keep going the same $4 or $5 could become a reality......... the only upside is the traffic is thinning out allot... very few joyriders.....
