Question How much for custom licence plate?

How much does it cost to get custom licence plates? Im thinking of getting a "Green-98" plate, and since i have Mississippi plates, i only need a plate on the rear bumper. How much do you think this would cost?
THanks!

A Mississippi vanity plate costs $31
I know this because my daddy makes them.

They are such crooks, the way they set their prices.
$31 for the complete set, and $21 for only the rear plate.

They force you into buying the 'pair' by their unfair pricing policy.
(no offence against Raoul's daddy, but I call a spade a spade)

Stick to your guns greener and only buy the rear plate, don't let em push you around.

Are you saying in Canada a front plate is 'optional'?
In the US there are about 30 states that use two plates and 20 states that use one 'rear' plate. We have no choice here.

I know this because my daddy has been making plates for eight years and will be for 10 to 20 according to the judge.

Colorado wants you to have both so they can get you at the photo Red Light intersections. I run around without a front plate but haven't got a ticket yet by the Red Light or the cops.

There isn't a 'selling price' for auto registration tags. It is a state tax determined by your state legislature. Call your county tag agency and ask them. Every state is different. Florida, Colorado and Michigan state taxes have nothing to do with Mississippi state taxes so you need to look within your own state for your answer.

Most of Canada has to have front and rear plates. I think Quebec is the only province that has the rear plate

Alberta also doesn't have front plates. They got rid of them a number of years ago.

In Texas, the fee is around $30 to $40. You have to pay this amount every year though to 'renew' the plates. If you don't pay, they make you surrender the plates the next time you get your registration.
