Well I lost ½ - 1lb last week. Ticking in about 310 right now. Didn't go to the gym once, sick & weak all week long. Still coughing and weezing today but brought my gym bag. Figure I may as well spread the germs!
Well i thought it was me trying to lose weight but now i am told its the CKD i have and not me at all. I am so bummed i am losing about 2-5 lbs a week. I don't know if anyone else on here has the problem but man it sure sucks big time (Chronic Kidney Disease). I have had it for a long time and ever since the pneumonia in febuary its gotten much worse.
^^^Wow buckdropper, that sounds pretty scary.
Is there hope for cure or will it continue to worsen? Pretty lousy way to diet. (we need a thumbsdown frownie face).

Well I didn't get to weigh myself until last night since we were out of town but I am still at 202. I am figureing in my head that I am actually 201 but since I have a certain visitor that extra pound is hanging there. I am still catching up on everything (at home , work & online) so I haven't finished calculating my calory intake from last week.
I did do a good amount of walking at the track (only took the golf cart twice & that was for quick trips to look at photos). I was very proud that we didn't by a single food item at the track (or snacks at the rest stops). I snacked on grapes, oranges & pretzel goldfish mostly. I did cave a bit & had a good amount of Pepsi (the stress was getting to me) so that may throw my calories way up there.
Oh well, on to another week of the uphill battle. When going through the mail yesterday I did get a book I ordered, Strength Training for Women. It has tips on which exercises work best for each area as well as which will help burn the most calories. Now the tough part is to find time to read it over some. I think it will be going with me to the next race (along with my Tai Chi book).

Hopefully we can start playing some basketball again and I can stay on my diet and get the weight to start dropping again.

Now: 228 lbs.
Goal: 220 lbs. or lower

Hey thanks, to be honest we didnt change anything about the way we live other than what we eat. I dont go to the gym or anything, just maintain my normal level of activity. Its a lot easier to move around now days :|
