Here's a hint, does anyone remember hearing about terrorist attacks before the 1950's?
I wasn't born until 1972 chief. Besides, blaming the US for terrorism is like Michael Moore blaming Mcdonalds for making him a giant pig. Those people have been killing themselves for centuries. Long before America was even an idea.

Wrong, they had plenty of money. The Turks had a strong enough army to beat the British in the 20's. It's an irrelevant fact though, terrorism isn't exactly expensive compared to what we call traditional warfare.
I think you are a bit mixed up there Momalle. Britain didn't fight the Turks in the 20's.
The Turks did fight a war of independence against the Greeks and Britain brokered the truce between them but that was the only involvement.
Turkey did fight against Britain in WW1 and lost.

I didn't blame the US for terrorism Frank. Terrorism is their primary method of fighting, but they didn't fight weith us until after the late 1950's.

The Turks and England fought over northern Iraq after WW1, either way, they had an army and plenty of money to fund it, still negates the comment about middle eastern countries having no money before the 50's.

Just sticking up for my boys.

To reiterate my point. Turkey did not fight and defeat the British in the 20's as per your original quote.
Turkey did fight against the allies and lost during WW1.

Your quote about that was wholly innacurate.

I do agree though that the Ottoman Empire had plenty of money at that time though.

Hope this clears things up
