I just made some suggestions, as per most suggestions, it is your right to ignore them!

A might defensive eh?
Ummmm.....nope, there does not appear to be any of that defensive stuff in my post (I read it again to be sure).

Let's see...I explained to you that I have been around here...

then let you know where I frequent, my favorite sections...

then I was asking you about the number of posts, or the magic number...

I asked if I was not allowed to begin in General Discussion...

then I explained about my lack of knowledge on the workings of vehicles and shared with you what I did know about them, (I talked about trucks like you suggested)...

and then I told you that my bf has an F-150, that I have an Explorer, and mentioned my aging Bronco II. (Talked about trucks again!!, how 'bout that?)

Not sure where you get defensive out of any of that, but if you want to look at it that way...you're more than welcome.
Cheers!

I'm an ARMY OF 2 MOM and as a matter of fact I DO care about ALL of our children dying in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN!

I care about all the innocent children right here in America that got slaughtered and the parents of all the innocent children that got slaughtered on 911…

While it is sad to lose one military life in war the fact remains that more people in the military die every year and NO one is every concerned with that but I guess if those in the military die during peace time its no big deal.

Go figure…

What about all the people over there who are alive and kicking, fighting for all of us here at home. Are you at all proud of them?

I think there are a lot more over there who are alive and kicking than are dying and I think that they would appreciate knowing that we are proud of them for what they are doing for us.

Pretzels... get you fresh hot logical pretzles right here.

C'mon snork, what are you talking about?
Are the Iraqis are responsible?
Even one?
How about those Saudi's?
They seem to have very dirty hands...
Afghanistan - Al Queda - Taliban - I was a cheerleader for that campaign... then it became half assed left half done.
Radar goes up, somethings very wrong...
They dropped the ball.

380 TONS of high explosives... missing from a base = less alive and kicking.
It would be funny if it weren't so tragic.

Also... she said she cared.
What they are doing for us exactly? fighting terrorists? quelling terrorism?
Sheesh... what a crock.
They are in a bad situation over there, and its getting worse by the day for us, and especially for them.

You will gain more respect whether you want it or not.
Earn your stripes, then exercise your authority. A zero (0) post count doesn't carry much respect initially.

It also seems to be the “zero (0) post count” that you’re having a problem with. I am neither submitting posts as an effort to acquire respect nor am I trying to earn stripes or exercise an authority.
But tell me, if I were interested in any of that, how many posts would I need? Is there some magic number?
Because I’ve chose to read and not submit a post, I am not allowed to start in General Discussion regarding political issues? I didn’t know this rule.
Even if I had never been here before, you base the value of what someone writes, and whether they can have your respect on how many posts they have that show up in small writing beneath their name? You cannot be serious.

Ao2M,
You stated, "...... you're having a problem with....." Then you go to great lengths to ridicule the message. Defensive? You be the judge...... NO, you already judged it as non-defensive! Sorry! You are always right, we've learned that from your other "zero" posts.

If you take it at face value and not be so... oh God, here goes the word you wish to be disassociated with..*puts hands over head in protection* ..... defensive you would see I merely suggested your ZERO post count gives everyone on the board no background of post to judge your validity based on members perceptions.

Hummmm? No defense, all offense........ guess we know who you'll vote for!

Have at it, I'll will do the honorable thing and allow you the last word.

Post count has nothing to do with validity.

What a weak assed argument of you serotta-rooter, did you know that posts don't count here in the general discussion forum?

Ao2Mom posts get judged on face value of their content, just like anyone else here, but if you think a big count makes someone more right than someone who doesn't have as many, then you are one of those annoying small shallow folks we all run into every day.

Have you taken into account that she has 2 serving right now, so she is better suited to comment on the crap going on over there, because she is in contact and getting first hand reports on a regular basis.
No, I didn't think so. shrubbies don't think past their programming or their selfish little tax rebates. Your check was what, 600 bucks? chump change.
She has a lot invested in the safety and outcome of the conflict over there.
I would listen to what she has to say very closely, as she has a unique perspective on a situation that the rest of us are armchair quarterbacking.

Hey lardass, son in law of spork.

What will you do with all that conspiracy theory energy if Skerry wins on the 2nd. Claim everything he fails at is all part of the vast right wing plot to tarnish his Presidency and destroy his long standing senate record of 5 bills in a 20 year career.

Do you even vote or do you just sit in that dank little room of yours picking at those pimples on your **** justifing to yourself why you are so right and everyone else is so wrong.

(and yes I read every post in this thread )

Sled...

Are you part of the Kerry camp? (that would explain a lot!) This information has been known for more than a year, and is just now being relesed? Now it's a bit hard for us to hear the whole story before the election. Is that the plan? Wouldn't you just love it if those weapons were used against our troops. Then you could say "I told you so". Missing explosives are a big problem but something tells me there is a lot more to this story. There almost always is.

She said she cared about the children dying. I mourn and appreciate the sacrifices these soldiers have made so that we don't have to fight terrorism in our front yards. You can believe what you want to but I believe that our soldiers are fighting terrorists and quelling terrorism. I would guess that a majority of our people involved in the war on terror understand and support their mission. I can't imagine they appreciate you calling the mission they have been fighting hard for a crock. I also can't imagine they appreciate you telling people how it's bad and getting worse over there when all you know is from our "completely unbias " media coverage.

Profanity and name calling shows a lack of social skills, lack of communication skills, lack of tangible convictions. However, on the brighter side, it does show a creative and humorous way of self-expression. Depite your lack of sensitivity and blindness to others points of view, I still value your judgements and opinions. I will continue to read them with great anticipation.

What an ***.
Seeing as there are many more terrorists than ever before joining up against the Imperialists... the mishandled situation has bred more animosity towards us and more willing to come here to do us harm.
You don't appreciate the news that things are getting worse over there? The reports coming from the trops themselves tell the real story.
Wake the hell up.

Are you talking about shrub?
It sure fits him.

I'll bet you were laughing your *** off when he was looking under the furniture doing his 'no WMD's here' routine.

6 more days and we'll be free of the shub administration, and their rape of this country.
