Has anybody seen the Quizno's commercials with the singing roadkill selling submarine sandwiches. Quizno's has never been my favorite place to eat; but, now it's turns my stomach to even think about eating there.

I love quiznos. Personally, I think their campaign with the "bring any coupon in for a discount" idea is pretty sweet.

 

I know some people have to like them. The toasted bread is a good idea. The problem is, the ones I've been to are extremely stingy with the meat. Even Subway isn't as bad. Jersey Mike's is the only way to go. The commercial really turned me off of them for good though. I haven't talked to anyone that wasn't turned off by seeing it. It's very unappetizing, to say the least.

I'm with you Odin, it's the most repulsive commercial to come along in a long time. Who are they trying to appeal to? Teenagers maybe?

 

Their subs would be better with more meat, I agree, they're to stingy especially for the price.

Nothing like a Big Stash's in Kearny NJ, he hooks a sub up...

 

the comercial is pretty dumb. but did you see the ones a couple months ago, one where the guy was drinking from the mother wolf. sick

 

That's what they're supposed to be? I saw it this morning for the first time...came in in the middle of it. To me, they looked like little singin' turds.

Relieved to know it's only roadkill.

I have been thinking the same thing. It really makes me sick some of the things they show on TV these days...Janet's boob is one thing...didn't bother me at all...but a dead rat selling toasted subs?!?!?! Things that make you go...eewwwweeeehh

I could've made a better commercial with my ancient video camera and 2 pieces of paper. Anybody can find two dead mice to make a commercial with. I have no idea what they were thinking when they made that commercial. I like Quizno's, but every time I think about their subs and connect that commercial to it I'm not hungry any more.

 

I went to the Quiznos website and sent this message to their advertising department.

"I have very much enjoyed Quiznos subs. I think they are of the best available anywhere.
However, I just want to comment on the new add campain with the dead rodents singing. I'm not sure if I can ever eat at Quiznos again. It turns my stomach to think of that commercial when I'm in the mood for a sub. I've heard from several people that feel the same as I do. I know noone that feels differently. I hope that Quiznos decides to take a different approach to their advertising in the future. "

Son't know if it will make any difference, but hey. Maybe they'll take the roadkill down.

I have never eaten there. I don't think we have any here. Still that would be pretty disgusting.
