I don't smoke, never have. Both of my parents smoke and did so the whole time I was growing up, by the time I left home I'd had enough! I don't have issues with people who do smoke, I just ask you do not smoke in my house, in my vehicle and if you smoke outside my house don't throw your butts on the ground!!!

OK, I lied, I do have an issue with people who smoke. . .the ones that think a cigarette butt laying on the ground is not litter. . .I saw a program once on the harm those butts are causing to the environment, it's not pretty. Please folks, use the ashtray, that's what it's made for!!

I used to smoke then I quit. When I smoked, I smoked just to **** people off because I knew they didn't like it. I would light one up just for the fact.
They way I see it, people should smoke if they want to. One person shouldnt worry about what another does. Instead of complaining about other people smoking, worry about your own life. When someone lights one up, walk away, don't get into an argument. It's useless.
Again, I used to smoke but I don't now. It still makes me mad to hear people complain. It makes me want to light one up and blow it in their face!!!

Quit back in September of 1992.

Started smoking back in 8th grade off and on, then smoked cigs and chewed Skoal and Copenhagen in 9th, then started smoking MaryJane in 9th, did all three until I was 17. Then I quit smoking dope and quit chewing Cope by the time I was 18, and smoked Marlboro Reds until I was 24. I quit smoking the weekend after I found I was going to be a dad.

Still have cravings for a smoke after a good Mexican meal, but can't even compare how much better I've felt for the last 13 1/2 years to how crappy I felt before.

As far as what started all the nonsense about smoking in bars and whatnot, I wonder if anyone ever pointed out to Rob Rhiner that being a fat f@ck is bad for you health as well. Sooner or later it will be against the law to be fat.

Sound reasonable and fair to me. But will those non-smokers please quit throwing their trash in our ashtrays. I go to shopping centers and just about all ashtrays that are at the entrances are stuffed full of flammable materials.
