Life Aborted
ABORTION
6 weeks old today mummy
A birthday gift for me
A pair of big blue eyes
thru one day I will see.
Where are we going mummy
with the rain splashing down
when it hits the sidewalk
it makes a funny sound.
Bang thru the big white doors
people dressed in green
if they hurt u mummy
just run away and scream.
Help me mummy their tearing me apart
there goes my big blue eyes
there goes my little heart.
I love u mummy believe me i do
but the worst thing is I thought u loved me too.
Ah man after reading that poem, I felt sick.

Well if you have a problem with abortions then keep it to yourself. Some of us believe in them, because the person might have been raped or what not. I'm pretty sure they don't want to be stuck with their rapiest child. Thankyouverymuch.
Drama, drama, drama.
I am more upset that some selfrightous person even wrote that nasty little poem, than I would be if it were true.
Fact is, while I don't believe in it, I don't believe in preventing others from doing it, or condemning them if they do. Joe, is right. You don't know, nor is it your business to know how the person came to be in that position, or even make that decision.

Abortion is the last thing I want to debate, it's a no win.
However, I agree with Joe and ATST.
It really bugs me when people try to push their views so strongly by using guilt to make their point. It's a cheap and selfish way to get your point across.

So lets just let this one sit quiet and not go down that road

But maybe a bit litter topic would be "keeping your F#$%ing nose out of other peoples' lives and bodies"
Trending Topics
Abortion is one screwed up topic. I'm not for it for myself. If I screw up and create a responsibility, that I am not too thrilled about, it's still my responsibility. How you deal with life's obstacles says a lot about you.
My sister had an abortion when she was very young and it haunts her to this day. People on both sides of the issue have valid points on the topic; but, whatever a person decides in this matter, it's usually a life decision that doesn't end when they walk out of the operating room... either with baby or sans fetus.
The only argument for abortion that really sends me over the edge is... A woman has a right to control her own body. It's a childish and simplistic way of looking at the debate. Other people are affected by her choices in this matter. The father has a huge stake in what is decided. If he doesn't want the child and the woman decides to keep it, he is legally responsible to provide for it. Why is he not legally able to require a woman to have an abortion if he chooses? More than his body is on the line here. His dilemma is no less dramatic than hers. His life can just as easily be ruined as hers. It's just a silly argument.
On the religious side of this, why do they plead for the life of the child more than for the souls of the people involved? The child, being an innocent, goes straight to heaven right? That could be looked on as a blessing for the child correct? It's just a thought.
Man, this is a screwed up issue. I could go on and on and on.....
One more thing. People don't feel guilty unless they feel like they have done something wrong.

This is one of those 'no win' battles.
Listen...If I want to get an abortion, that's my business...and NOT your's The law provides for that, so keep your nose out of it. Of course, MROLDV8 is not a female...but I speak for my wife and daughter.
How many of you remember, as I do, girls giving themselves abortions with coathangers because they couldn't have the operation legally performed...and then being rushed to the hospital...bleeding to death, with their insides all torn-up? Is that a better solution? I don't think so.
