I am going to assume that no one is a murderer. Based on this assumption it all boils down to when you think life begins.

My opinion;

Consensual/casual sex: Take birth control or be prepaired to raise a child. Reversable vasectomy; problem solved.

Complications that threaten the life of the mother: Abort. One sure life vs an unknown.

Rape: THis a hard one for me to get a handle on. The trama to the victim is something I can see and share. The unborn child if aborted soon enough is not. The night after pill; out of sight, nice and clean.

A pregnant woman who was dumped by the husband/ boyfriend or left abusive saituation: Treat the guy as a rapist and castrate. Treat the woman as a victim and abort or society supports her or removes child to foster care. Her choice.

A pregnant woman who dumps guy: Have society remove child or abort. Her choice, then steralize woman. IMHO when men start giving birth then we will have a say it what happens to the unborn child.

Whew!

While I would like to agree with your proposals, the problem I have with "circumstantial approval" is that this is already a weighty issue for the woman. Believe it or not, the majority of people that have abortions don't really want one, they weighed the options and concluded it was best for all. (all includes the unborn child). It is not our business to know if the woman was raped, or had/has an abusive relationship, or even if she is dying and having the baby will shorten her life or end it. I feel it just isn't up to us to approve or disapprove.
Most people against abortion fail to give credit to the woman whom has wrestled with this decision. In fact, it is likely the general public's bias/ double standard that got her into the situation she was in. Guys who think date rape is OK, Guys who brag about how many women they 'got', Guys who lie and promise things they will never do, yet the woman always bears most of the responsability for the couples actions. Therefore, even though I don't agree with abortion, I feel stronger that we don't further her victumisation, by not allowing her to do it. Before you say anything about not being biased, think about your reaction when you heard Kobe Bryant was accused of rape. I actually saw people cheering in support of him on his way into the court room. Never mind that he was, at the very least, guilty of adultery.
Some rape victums (whom some people would approve of an abortion) keep their babys.
Some under age women keep theirs and turn out to be neglectful mothers raising a monster that will likely be jailed after causing enough harm to others.
and some women have their baby and after lots of lost sleep, wages and social life, they (mom and kid) turn out just fine.
It is nice to see more men stepping up to the plate, but there seem to be an equal number passing the bat.

People in general need to be more responable. I addition, girls should learn to say "no" and guys should learn to say and respect 'no'. No woman should have to face this delema and be condemned for her decision.

Exactly. You yourself might not be for it, but it's not your choice to get the abortion or not. You are also correct about the guys who pride on the women they've "got in the sack" I've only had sex with one girl, and it was something I chose not to do for a long time, because she's had sex before. I actually waited 4 months after going out with her to have sex. Now I'm getting to personal, but the fact is, don't put so much the blame on the woman, start pointing fingers at the low life guys. (not all guys, just the low life ones)

Atst,

So, Ok leave it up to the woman. I have no problem with that. It is after all their body. I do however respect the potential of life, unborn child, enough to protect it from casual disposing of. Sort of like people that get a puppy from the pet shop and abandon it after they realize that they don't want it.

Society is very judgemental, and so can I be.
That is why I want full disclosure of the circumstances in order to offer the proper response.
I will treat a woman who was raped differently than say the town **** that uses abortions as a tax deduction in her line of work.

Joe! Don'r ever EVER tell the truth about that stuff, for God sakes man, lie!!

Tell the people you've only nailed a dozen or so, and this is more in line with how guys are.
Get it?

First the photo of you in a speedo, and now this, oh the humanity.

joe....joe....joe, what am I gonna do?

Run this stuff by me before you post it, OK?
First off, you have to lie. Everybody on here lies!
I live in a cardboard box under a bridge and access the internet thru a computer display at Radio Shack but, I have convinced untold thousands that I am a respectable member of society and own a truck.

Look at Habibi. He has been posting from Canadian prison for nearly two years, spinning yarns about traveling around the Country....
"Hey Habibi, why didn't you stop and see me?...."
"Uh....I was sick man, real sick."
.

So lifeguardjoe, hold the cards a little closer to the vest. From now on save the truth for a last resort about most anything like say, what you do for a living. OK lifeguardjoe?

p.s.
I know you truthfully claimed 'One' about the girlfriend but, if she has a valve stem and her eyes don't blink, she doesn't count.

Wow dude you don't know what your missing Senseless acts of intercourse with random, attractive girls is the only way to live through your youth. Actually, I hope I can make it the only way I live through my older years. Strap on some Fort Knox style protection & drive that meatwagon to tuna-town! One girl...Jesus brother...come on up to M.S.U. sometime...I'll have you swearing by the poon life in 1 weekend. Up here, if yer pretty enough, drive a stylin' ride and keep in solid shape...you hardley have time to "wash up" before your back inside another one of Mother Natures "wishing wells"..... In a few months you'll be lying about your girl count to make it SMALLER....not to make it bigger. Everyone asks why I have Van Wilder syndrome (Im 26, have 153 credits in 5 different majors & havent even earned an associates degree yet)..I think it's painfully obvious why I inted to never leave college....& it AIN'T the great coffee houses...
