Can anyone explain to me why the American dollar is taking a dump.
Also, how long do you think before it starts to rebound?

That is because RockPick is so loaded he uses it to wipe, thus the dollar in the toliet...

I think you will see a rebound, a decent rebound begining sometime in the second to third quarter in 2004, we'll see what happens...

Wow, 600 bucks a month is a lot.

Euro is at $1.18 right now so it's cheaper for us to buy things from the US.But it's hurting our export of course.
Export of vegetables and flowers to the US has taken a dump also. They are way to expensive now.

 

I'm sure glad I have no money and am too stupid for this to impact me and my family. Euro?, Dollar?, speak english, pennies, nickels and dimes that's my life. I'm retired and on a fixed income. I don't even have to worry about the stock market, sold all my livestock years ago, not even so much as a chicken around here. Now, my tomato plants in the backyard better do good, 'cause there will be a lot of white bread, mayo and 'mater 'samaches to keep me goin' in the heat of summer.

 

A low dollar helps our exporters and makes our domestic goods more competitive with the child wages being paid on the imported goods. Hopefully it will stay low for a while to help out our industries, Lord knows they deserve it.
