Natalie is a big fat *****. I couldn't care less what she thinks or hearing her high-pitched whiny voice. I think America is sick of hearing celebrities complain.

I watched a show on the Dixie Chicks and they dumped their original singer because she was too old and they knew they wouldn't get signed. That is when they picked up tubby!! What's up with that!! How is that for loyalty!!

Cool

I always found their voices annoying, no way I could listen to them without cringing. Watch the Texas comments, also PLEASE!,,,,98

You know why? Because she has no "core" beliefs and was just shooting off her mouth!

If she truly had core beliefs, moral values, and believed in her heart about what is going on then she would have stood by her orignal comment.

Nope, this lady is a follower and not a leader, even more reason to keep her mouth SHUT!!!

She posted a retraction on their website. I dont think that's enough for shooting her mouth off.

Yea, I really like their music but they need to stay out of politics.
I remember Hanoi Jane Fondas trip to North Niet Nam and the
***** she caused our POW's to incure for not going along with her
thoughts and feelings. Someone should have shot that BITCH..
I guess maybe some women have trouble dealing with reality.

There was a radion station near KC that set up dumpsters so that people could come dump their Dixie Chicks CD's. I hope no guys have to make a trip by that dumpster

Alot of Stations in TX are taking them off their playlists. Hopefully this will do some permanent damage to their careers.

Thumbs down

I find it funny that these b*tches can run their mouths about our country, when if they were in any other country nobody would care about them. They would never gain fame and money doing what they do anywhere else in the world. Ingrates!!!

They can always go the Iraq and "sing"

Well Pete, stop and re-read the quote from Raoul and think.....hehe

Most people also don't know that there were originally four of them but, one of them dropped out, grew a beard and bought a Lightning.
And I can see Vin and his photoshop hard at work as we speak

I would like to acknowledge one of our local country music radio stations here in Birmingham, Alabama: WZZK. They have removed all Dixie Chunks music from rotation and are making a public service announcement every 1/2 hour stating that they have done so due to the overwhelming demand of their listeners. Way to go WZZK!!!!

Here is her apology:

Statement from Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks
March 14, 2003

"As a concerned American citizen, I apologize to President Bush because my remark was disrespectful. I feel that whoever holds that office should be treated with the utmost respect. We are currently in Europe and witnessing a huge anti-American sentiment as a result of the perceived rush to war. While war may remain a viable option, as a mother, I just want to see every possible alternative exhausted before children and American soldiers' lives are lost. I love my country. I am a proud American."

What a crock!!
