terror alert: high why?
hey defacto,
why don't you post your trolling garbage on one of your communist forums. I can't believe the nonsense you spew about the US being terrorist because of dropping the bombs in japan. it was total war, we had to stop it any way we could. what were we supposed to do, surrender to the japanese empire?
you insult my country, I'll insult yours - I am hearing more and more of this communist CR** from the GREAT WHITE NORTH - you guys are selling yourselves of to your socialist government paying 65% taxes for the luxury of criticizing the country of which you are most jealous.
I am so fried I wish you and I were in a bar so we could take it outside - if you have elevated moral relatavism to such a level as to equate the Allies in WWII to terrorists you have lost your mind. take your insults somewhere else.

Once again I feel that this applies here.
I feel that a war with Iraq is totally justified if Sadam refuses to declare all of his WOMD that we KNOW he has. Either that or prove that he has disposed of them. He is refusing to be straightforward with anything. How long can we as a country, the United States of America, the defenders of freedom stand for this? This war is not about oil, we only import less than 1% of our oil from Iraq. Check it out, it's true. This war is about putting a irritating little punk bastard in his place. This is my view of the deal, if you agree with me great. If you don't so be it, I won't lose any sleep over it tonight.

1.) Since when did America give Canada free speech? Don't give yourself the liberty to create history.
2.) Many more Canadians died in WWII than eight. We liberated the Netherlands. We were there alongside you at Normandy (Canadians stormed Juno beach). You should read up on history.
As for Bush, I have one question for Bush supporters. One: Bush made his whole case of Afghanistan to rid the world of Al Qaeda and to find Bin Laden. Fast forward to this week: Bin Laden is not found and the States is on terror alert due to Al Qaeda activity. Hasn't it occurred to anyone that whenever Bush fails at one agenda he makes another and promotes it more than a Hollywood blockbuster?
Anyone care to field the aforementioned question without resorting to semantics or to Canadian-bashing?

Wooo, slow the horse down there partner. Nobody is “creating” history. Only “stating” a “fact”. Facts can be hard to deal with. So here we go, FACT if it were not for America and the power we have Canada citizens most likely would NOT have the freedom to speak as they do. Canada may have had a part in WWII but no were near the part America played and neither did Canada pay close to the price Americans paid in freeing such countries as France. France was then as still is to this day the world’s biggest wuss who could not under any circumstance stand up for themselves.
When there is a problem in the world that jeopardizes another countries freedom “who you gona call?” America that’s who. It has always been that way and always will be. So don’t get so upset a simple “thank you” would do nicely.
“Bin Laden is not found and the States is on terror alert due to Al Qaeda activity. Hasn't it occurred to anyone that whenever Bush fails at one agenda he makes another and promotes it more than a Hollywood blockbuster?”
Well it seems you don’t understand how the real world operates and just how big the real world is. I would ask you have you seen Bin Laden lately. If so, then were is he? I will tell you were he is, if he is still alive, and that would be deep underground and hiding as do all COWARDS (terriost) do. As far as Al Qaeda same for them hiding like a bunch of wuss bags. Tell you what give me the names of all the citizens in your country. What I will do is take 10% of those names and draw one. I will then ask you to go find that person and see how well you do. Please, a simple “thank you” would do again.
Bush has not failed at the agenda of finding Bin Laden or Al Qaeda. Let me remind you in case your CNN broadcast has been disconnected what our find American president said “It will take a LONG time” that usually means more then a few months and most likely more then a few years. Again a simple “thank you” would do since America has to do the hard and dirty work of which you will be a direct beneficiary of, that would be safety.
Hollywood blockbuster, I guess your confused a little. Must be the inability to view CNN up there. Clinton was the one that did things for “Hollywood blockbusters”.
“Anyone care to field the aforementioned question without resorting to semantics or to Canadian-bashing?”
How did I do? I did my best to give you some facts to digest so lets see how you do. Actually all you need to do is write the simple words “thank you America for all you have done to insure Canada is safe today, tonight and many years to come, all for free”.

I appreciate the civil replies and in a world such as this, its very comforting. However, although America is a workhorse in terms of economics and military, Canada's freedom has never been entirely depedent on the States. Yes, America stood up for the world in WWII but Canada was fighting alongside. The numbers of troops are irrelevant because in the 1940's Canada was no more than 15-20 million people, which is a fraction of what the States had. Canada has always fought for its own freedom and the freedom of other countries as well. We do not involve ourselves in battles but we involve ourselves in the aftermath. The number of Canadian peacekeepers abroad is staggering. If needed, Canada would stand up for itself and its neighbour.
Well, Habibi is poking his head into the hornets nest
This is what I think (for what it's worth)
* I am thankful and fortunate to share a border with my American brothers and sisters.
* To my fellow Canadians, I ask you this question:
How would the world be different if there was no America?
Think about it for a minute before you answer.
Damn right, America may not be perfect, but then who is?
To all the US servicemen and woman, I thank you, and my family thanks you for everything you do. There are those of us who do appreciate all that you do (and for *****ty pay too)
Everyone knows that Canada could overtake the US anytime we want, but we are a humble, peace loving people, and don't enjoy bullying others.
You guys have the US army, well my friends, we have the Salvation army, and you don't want to mess with them!
Just because you guys have crappy beer and smokes, I won't hold that against yas.
Canada's support will be there, just as it always has been, in our small but meaningful contribution.
Thank you
Habibi

I don't know about the peace loving part. I believe you are responsible for shutting down that "I hate the air site"...
I have noticed that past few days or week now it is not working anymore, what did you do overthere???
You have a good point about the "Salvation army" I bet if we sent all them to Iraq and let them ring those bells they do at Christmas that would drive them people in Iraq crazy and make them give up peacefully. What do you think? Has possibilities...

I can hear them know: AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Stop ringing those damn bells!!!!!!!!!!! We give up!!!!! We give up!!!!!!!! Our weapons of mass didtruction are in that cave over there!!!!!!!! Take them!!!!!!!! We give up!!!!!!!!!
i cant keep my mouth shut anymore. just want to mention a few things.
japan attacked this country, they deserved everything they got in return, and then some.
bin laden attacked this country, him and his followers deserve slow painful deaths as there is no place in civilization for any group whos intent it is to kill others.
i know thats a double edged sword, but i also think murder is wrong, and capitol punishment is right. erraticate the disease.
anyone who attacks this country deserves to be replied to swiftly, and finally, until the threat is removed.
that being said, i dont think that we should be invading iraq. they have not atacked us, they have not invaded our country, as far as i know they never screwed with us anywhere (unprovoked). i think the reasons for going into that country are nepotistic and self serving to the government. look around the world and see who else wants to go in there. england out of loyality, and maybe one other country i can think of (and that would explain the nepotism). i know you cant watch a country slowly builds its arms, and then stockpile them against someone else's border before reacting, but i dont see this happening there either.
i dont understand why north korea is shooting its mouth off about 'yea, look what we have, too damn bad if you dont like it' and we dont seem to give a damn about that, its just seems to be all gung-ho for iraq and it doesnt make sense.
i do not want to start an argument with anyone, and its a beautiful thing that people are all entitled to their own opions.
i am sure the people that want to attack have reasons for what they believe as well, but there are alot of different ways to look at a situation.

The Hollywood blockbusters are spins created mostly by our Canadian friends that work within the US Media .
Let's see ..... HHmmm... which border does our recent terrorist penetrate??? The Pacific Ocean? No . The Atlantic Ocean? No . The Gulf of Mexico? No. Mexico? No. Let's see what's left .... Hmmm. Canada , yeah that's it . Yes our Border Patrol is deficient but if our friends from , oh my , dare I say it , from Canada would not have such a liberal immigration policy then maybe Sept. 11 would never have happened .
Yet we are still compelled to treat the cause and not the symptom.
If America (Bush) is so damn short-sighted as some say , then why are we not making sanctions against Canada?????
Sit home , speak freely and thank God , America is on your side.

We don't train pilots, except for our military, and we know who both of them are.

We have country that supports terrorism and has WMD. They have already stole our planes and attacked us with them. Even with high security it is still very possible to sneak those WMD's into other countries and use them.
How would you like WMD's to be used on Canada? Or England? or any other country aside from North Korea?
It's not that Bush failed in his plans, it's that he is working on the bigger picture, Terrorism, not 1 terrorist.
