IMO, the country with the policy being shaped by Iraq's oil is France, not the USA.

After Saddam is toppled and Iraq is disarmed, my hope is we will help lay the framework for freedom and democracy, and then walk away. Millions of Iraqui's will be thankful, even if you are not.

About the A-bomb, if the point was to terrorize and kill instead of end the war, why didn't we drop the bombs on Tokyo and Kyoto? The point was to end the war quickly and decisively. It worked, BTW.

While the Saudi's are not trusted allies, the reality is their chemical, biologic and nuclear weapons programs (if they have them) are far less risk to American interests than Saddam's.

There is an alternitive for folks that bash the U.S. and its decisions, pack up, leave and see how much better you have it somewhere else. Iraq maybe?

I find it incredible that anyone could consider that a bombing during a time of war a terroriest action, reguardless how big the bomb. If anything was the biggest terrorist act, it was the EXTERMINATION of the jews and other's that didn't meet Hitler's requirement's for an elite race. More than 6 million people just taken from their homes, women, children, babies.........

Does anyone know anybody who spent time in these camps? I did.

As far as we know for sure Saddam only has SCUDs . They don't have the range to get here. North Koreas longest range missle can only make it to Alaska . That is one reason for the base being in the heartland .

First you obviously do not understand the word “terrorist” and the term “terrorist act” mean. If you did you would have never related it to the dropping of the A bomb in Japan. I will try to make this simple for you since it seems from your post you have a very limited space for knowledge and FACTS.

A terriost is a “really mean person” they are also the ultimate “coward”. They use intimidation in order to forward their “cause”. Intimidation is another word someone could use in place of “terrorist act” they basically have the same meaning and try to produce the same outcome, which is FEAR.

FEAR is a mighty weapon to use on a person, persons or a nation. FEAR is one of the most powerful weapons one could use on another person, persons, or nation. It could and sometimes can cripple a person, persons, nation and an entire economy.

FEAR is used by the ultimate cowards to try and FORCE or INTIMADATE someone in to doing as they, the coward, sees fit. Our current situation is that these ultimate cowards (terriost) are trying to use the weapon of FEAR (terriosm) to INTIMADATE America to change its ways and traditions.

When Japan made the ultimate “mistake” of trying to induce fear into America by attacking us for absolutely no reason other then to cripple us from assisting our allies, who at the time we were NOT doing, so no reason for any attack on America but Japan “thought” by attacking us they could cripple us and intimidate us into not acting or getting involved with WWII.

Once someone has induced or tried to induce fear into someone, this case America with the Japanese coward sneak attack by cowards, then that person, in this case America has the right to bring upon that coward, in this case Japan, any force they so deem necessary to absolutely and completely DEFEAT and if necessary WIPE OUT in order to insure that such fear shall never again be induced upon that person, in this case America.

Are you following so far? I hope I am not losing you. It is kind of like that old saying “you asked for it”. It is actually quit simple with the proper education, logical thought process and knowledge of the soul of any human being which is to always be free.

In any case once one has been introduced to a cowardly act of terriosm or sneak attack it is the responsibility of that person to insure the least amount of people on their side, in this case America, gets hurt or killed. It is not their responsibility to worry about others on the enemy’s side. No one, including G.W. Bush or anybody else wants to see innocent people killed. It is however the responsibility of the citizens of the country responsible for terriost acts or helping others with terriost acts to OVER THROW their government thus insuring no attack by the person subjected to the initial terriost act or future terriost acts based on their current country’s regime, in this case the coward Hussen.

If those people are unwilling to overthrow their government because of ILLEAGAL acts, in this case not following the UN resolution and valid FACTS that support Americas allegations that they are producing weapons of mass destruction and have cooperated with other terriost groups in the past and present then those citizens ASSUME all responsibility for any harm that may come to them for their NON-ACTION.

Let’s see if this is easier to follow for you. You know if you are with someone when they comment murder that you are just a responsible correct? Sure you are. That makes you responsible to do one of two things. One, to do what you have to in order to prevent the murder, or two, turn that individual into law enforcement.

So, the citizens have one of two things they can do, come forward and tell authorities (UN inspectors) where all the weapons are, this would be the equivalent of turning a person in, or two to overthrow Hessen, this would be the equivalent to preventing the murder.

I am well aware there will always be people among us that are much more easily scared and crippled by the initial fear, in this case people like you. When one is overcome by fear they tend to do and say anything possible to keep the fear at the minimum possible. This is flawed thinking or an illogical thought process, due to being crippled by fear. These people, like you tend to think by doing nothing will result in nothing happening to them, in this case, America.

This again is quit simple to understand why the thought process is very flawed. A simple example is “the school bully”. When the bully sees that your weak you are FOREVER a target until you stand up for yourself. Once you have stood up for yourself using what ever means needed and it may take more then one time the bully will be put down and not bother you any longer.

Let me see if I can make this simpler for you. If you put hand on a hot stove and you burn your hand you don’t tend to do it again right? Of course I am right. Use that principle to help you repair your flawed thought process.

So, the FACTS are this. America has NEVER commented ANY terriost acts on any person, persons or nations EVER. America has never tried to INTIMADATE any person, persons or nations EVER. America has always been a country that has tried and been successful in freeing many people around the world from communist and aggressive regimes who later became allies. The only one I can not seem to figure out is France, but then again they have been the world’s biggest wussies and I guess every planet needs a wussie.

It’s very, very simple my friend. We, America have been hit again for NO reason so we, America can do what ever we need to do to insure we are NOT hit again by a bunch of cowards (terriost). If you don’t like it and are so fearful and scared see a physician and they can give you some medication to help you cope.

If you one of these “blame America first” people GET THE HELL OUT, we don’t need you or your kind here. This is a country of STRONG and FREE people If you can not handle that I am sure there is another country that can make some use of you.

Pray tonight and thank GOD that G.W. Bush is your president because if it had been Algore we would be in serious trouble. If would be as if you were the president and either you or Algore is extremely scary, I would not want someone crippled with fear running the country. If you don’t think so ask any women you may know because if these terriost were to ever get their way there would no longer be WOMENS RIGHT. defacto is from Ontario,Canada . It has a great French influence up there. He is throwing stones because he is mad that Canada may decide to help us out and possibly double their war casualties to 8 people since after WWII.

He knows not of the sacrifices the US has made to keep his Canadian a$$ safe. I see and hear of alot of naturalized immigrants from other countries joining our Armed Forces. Never have I ever heard of one Canadian doing that. Instead all it seems we get from them is actors and TV newscasters .

Thanks, yes I knew he was from Canada. I figured I would try to explain to him the actual facts about America. I have no idea what type of school he may have attended as child but it was very obvious he had NOT been taught properly using actually facts. May have been a liberal type school where they go back in history and re-write parts they don’t like so as to come to the conclusions they wish.

If that was the case, and must be for people with his type of thought process and inability to see reality for what it is I figured I would go ahead and give him some proper education that his schooling failed to give him. What happens to poor guys like this is while they are being taught a rewritten version of history the teaching fails to teach them you can not rewrite what is happening in the present. That’s why they get so screwed up when trying to talk about reality and usually revert to name calling and the likes.

I am sure you will see an example of that. Let it be known that no one should knock the poor guy if he comes along and starts name calling or what ever towards me. It is the only way they are taught to deal with someone that has logic and facts behind him.

It is sad that some people don’t get the proper education in their schools no matter what country they are from. At least he can be happy he has a friend that is the world’s most POWERFUL nation. He can further be thankful that this POWERFUL country will insure he, his family friends and colleagues will be able to sleep tonight and every night in peace and live their life’s as they are use to and not have to pay one cent for that privilege due to being a friend of America.

I won't tell you to shut up. Speak freely , my daughter followed my lead and joined the US Navy. She is a Hospital Corpsman on her way to the Gulf. If/When anything happens she will be witness to the atrocities. She volunteered for the job and is proud to serve our USA .

Seriously, defacto's sad attempt to purport interest in meaningful debate was just a trap to lead everyone in so he (or she) can ignore any opposing viewpoints and storm off (on their high horse). I'm not saying individuals aren't entitled to their own opinions, but this presupposition that certain things are certain ways (the A-bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima was "terrorism") is presumptuous, and is indicative of an arrogant liberal.

Perhaps defacto would care to opine on what makes dropping the A-bomb more of a terrorist act than dropping 10,000,000,000 conventional bombs to achieve the same result. Or losing 1,000,000 American lives in overtaking Japan.

You will always be needed my friend. We need as many people that have common sense, logic and a thought process that makes sense.

This is a funny quote from defacto:

The part I find to be flawed is where he states: “so long as I believe in peace”.

To believe in peace means one has to believe in having and when necessary using the maximum force necessary in order to maintain the peace. Where “defacto” is flawed is in believing one can have peace either with no military or never using the force necessary in order to maintain the peace.

If you do not have a military, or are not willing to use that military to maintain the peace then you CAN NOT believe in peace. It’s quit simple for us with logic, knowledge, and proper thought processes to understand a simple FACT of life which is this:

1. If you have no military you have NO peace.
2. If you do have a military and refuse to use it to MAINTAIN the peace you have NO peace.

Liberals, I guess from birth have always lacked an understanding to that very SIMPLE FACT of life. For some unknown reason they seem to believe if they ignore it or appease the offender that the threat of action will just go away. Perhaps to many Hollywood movies, Clinton News Network (CNN) or maybe smoking too much of mother natures naturally brain cell killer, otherwise known as “make love not war, because were to lazy and/or chickensh*t to do anything about it”.

We have had leaders in the past that had these brain altering problems. First Carter appeasing the North Korean’s and now it has to be dealt with. Clinton appeasing and/or ignoring the problem in Iraq. Yes, I know Clinton bombed some aspirin factories, and blew off a few bombs in Iraq, but that was for TV and Hollywood to take the heat off him rather then acting in America’s best interest. Talk about selfish the idiot used the military to get media attention off him with his hoe in the white house.

For the liberals that say containment works I would direct your attention to North Korea. The fact of life as I explained earlier applies here again. You can not ignore or wish upon a star that the problem will go away. The problem is here now, and must be dealt with now by what ever means is necessary.

I would be a fool to say some innocent Iraq civilians will not be killed but that is not America’s fault or problem. Every single innocent Iraq civilian killed will be Hussen’s personal responsibility. Then again to liberals that won’t make sense since they don’t believe in personal responsibility. In any case my liberal anti-war friends rest easy since there is not much you can do to stop what HAS to be done to maintain the PEACE. It is people like myself that have the actually creditability to be able to say “I do believe in peace, as well as maintaining peace”.

As far as an illogical example of two kids fighting and “he started it” and then someone saying it don’t matter except who actually used it or what ever it was that made no sense. The point is this, everything has a beginning and an end. There is no beginning that has no end. There is no ending that did not have a beginning.

Terriost started this issue and America will finish and one day bring a conclusion to the issue.

For anyone wondering how many are too many as far as innocent people dieing from the other side my answer would be this. If it takes the death of 10 to save 1 American no problem, if it takes a 100 for 1 American no problem. In other words how ever many it takes to save 1 American no problem. America did not start this but America will end it like we always have. France and Germany and others like them it don’t matter what they have to say. They will be with us in the end because they will always want to be with the winner. They just don’t have the courage to be with us at the moment. Remember they didn’t really care about Jews being killed during WWII so they don’t have much for creditability so don’t really matter what they say now. They can just sit in the back of the room and watch the real men get the hard work done and then be there at the end to give as a drink of water and a towel.
