Tonite i was driving home from my friends house, doin the speed limit on deserted roads. All of a sudden i see a car flyin up behind me. Its a cop. He proceeds to pull me over in front of my house and starts accusing me of having drugs in teh car and being drunk. Anyway, i had no drugs, didnt drink, adn did nothing wrong except for being out at 1:30 and being 19. He makes me get out of the car and take the DUI test for 20 minutes in front of my house. He kept his lights flashing the whole time and woke all my nieghbors so they could all watch me take the DUI test. After i passed his test he proceded to search my truck for another 20 minutes with his lights on the whole time. After he found nothin except shotgun shells which i had a liscence for he told me it was a good thing i was close to home and to get home. I was pissed . I felt like i was violated. He also told me my eyes were red and glassy which they werent. And even though he was wrong, no apology and he told ME to get home. I am 19, ill get home when i feel like it. What a pr1ck. Anyway, Just had to vent. Sorry so long. As you can see the cops by me are *******ing A**holes. I have absolutely no respect for them anymore.

Some of them are great. The others are those kids who got picked on all in school and now are out to get revenge on the world. I would have told him I wasnt going home and made a few circles around the block.

 

Yeah, some cops can be bad and can be ******, but dont forget that there are plenty of good ones out there who are just there to protect people and arent out to get people
I have read plenty of posts on this board about people who are cops and actually give us information on what not to do. So I am just trying to say, dont stereotype all of them, because there are plenty of good cops out there.


And-- would you ever do their job? That is the one thing that keeps me from saying anything about them, I dont know if i could risk my life for the pay they get,so I respect them.

 

Yeah you are right they are not all bad, just all the ones in my town. I live in a small town and their biggest concern is not robbery or guns, its highschool kids parties adn underage drinking. They suck in my town. I know some are good but i keep gettin the bad ones. This is the second time in less than a year i have had my whole truck searched????? Whatever i am clean so i got nothin to hide. Just a pain the the a$$ adn a waste of my time. Sucks but what can u do.

if people would just do that more often some of the bad ones wouldn't get such big heads.

i've only ever had one cop that was a complete jerk to me. i should have gotten his badge number, but next time something like that happends, i'll remember.

yeah sum cops suck but sum can be cool! They are very hard to find though. Other than that the cops around me suck!!!
I get the loud exhaust thing all the time.....

I'd go to the station and talk to the Chief! Tell him you're OK, and ask him what the deal is. If you got nothing to hide, bitch to him. If that happened to me, that's the first thing I'd do.

 

The time I was handcuffed and he put rubber gloves on,
