My ex-girlfriend cheated on me with Scotty Gomez of the NJ Devils.

Guess I should feel honored.

(what's messed up is that I had to see him through my work a few months later, and be professional about it)

Anybody remember Magnum TA from WCW?

He is a Lightning owner. 600+ rwhp on the street tune. I've met him a few times; and, he seems like a great guy, too. He's done well for himself in spite of injuries sustained in the '86 car crash, that ended his wrestling career way too early. I don't know if he visits the site very much. Probably not.

When Ty Law played for the New England Patriots, he owned an F150. It was on his Mtv Cribs special as well. Look at pictures 19-23

Might as well resurrect this thread 4 years later again. Found it while searching for something else.

I have met and talked with Emmit Smith for a couple of minutes. Cool guy!

My Dad's aunt dated Jerry Jeff Walker, and my Dad partied with him in college a few times.

I have worked on Doug Moreland's (Texas country singer and chainsaw carving artist) chainsaws.

I went to high school with a few guys that played for UT a while back. Though they aren't really "famous", they have been on TV a lot.

I have been on Alan Jackson's old boat right after he sold it to my Dad's friend.

I shook George W's hand when he was our Governor, and I am friends with his neighbor's Daughter. Said Daughter is friends with, and went to school with Ted Nugent's kids.

I sat behind Kofi Annan on a plane once, and sat an aisle away from Gary Cole (boss in Office Space)

I don't remember it, but when I was 5, I was in England with my parents and my Dad met some Prince from somewhere in the Middle East in the hotel bar. I played on the elevators with the Prince's son.

That's all I've got.

I was in a movie in '98 filmed in Holly Springs, MS. The name was Cookie's Fortune and it was filmed by Robert Altman (yes, the MASH movie director) and I have pictures with Liv Tyler, Chris O Donnell, Julianne Moore, and Glenn Close, among others. I'm in the credits

I also had a off-screen cameo in Walk the Line, the Johnny Cash biopic from a few years back. Joaquin Phoenix walked right past me to smoke outside the Scottish Rite building in downtown Memphis.

I'm waiting for my next role, hoping it'll be a big break

I always thought it would be cool to be an extra in a movie like that. How is the compensation?

The back seat doesn't count.

Quentin Tarantino filmed a movie down the road from where I used to live. Didn't get to meet him but I almost got arrested for minding my own business driving past at 4am on my way to work. Cop got mad and cursed me out because I woke him up from his nap while he was supposed to be running security. It's a really hilarious and ridiculous story now, I just laughed my *** off and asked the cops if I was being punked by Ashton Kutcher, they didn't think it was too funny though.

My Grandpa told me that my great grandma shot at one of the President Roosevelts who was on a horse, with a shotgun when he was tryin to steal her chickens. Obviously it happened before they became president.

Are you sure of this ?
That could have been the New Deal ver 0.9, "Steal a Chicken for every pot.."

It was Beta, so no release notes were made for it.

It was later refined ( by a republican ) to "A Chicken in Every Pot. Two cars in every garage"

For an extra, you only get minimum wage. For the Cookie's Fortune role, I worked 4 11-hour days and got paid about $1400, after taxes. Missed the wrap party, though, because of church camp
