Any Celeberties here?Real Famous folks?
I was readin' the other site and saw this topic and figured i would ask here.
They were wondering if Toby Keith or Alan Jackson might be here since they are FORD/Mercury Fans.
I love Toby's Tonka truck. Also love the chik in his new video.
Ya know the girl, the one in the man button up shirt and not much else. That always get me.

Does it count?
Well, back in May I was at the 4WD truck show in Lima, OH & ESPN2 taped me for a segemnt - I was on camera for all of 2 min(?) & they even called me Cowlady! LOL! I never did get to see it (I don't have cable) but others told me they saw me, including my neighbors who were channel surfing! LOL! THEY thought I was famous!
Found this on the Toby Keith website - enjoy! He really DOES drive a Ford! Cool!
FORD TRUCK ADS FEATURING TOBY KEITH PREMIERE ON MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
DEARBORN, Mich., Oct. 7, 2002 –Country superstar Toby Keith will be making his Monday Night Football debut tonight, but he won’t be wearing a helmet. Keith and Ford Division will debut the first of several truck ads featuring Keith during the game.
The spots, shot in Southern California during the summer, feature Keith in a series of locations including a city rooftop, working on the farm and being “Ford Tough” as he plays his guitar in the recording studio. Keith wrote an original song for the ads, which captures his enduring love for Ford trucks. Keith is a 3rd generation Ford truck owner.
“As a Ford truck owner, Toby Keith embodies the hard working spirit of our truck customers,” said Rich Stoddart, Ford Division Marketing Communications Manager. “Toby Keith will show viewers what it really means to be ‘Built Ford Tough.’”
The national advertising premiere will be supported by a regional advertising campaign for local Ford dealers. Other elements of the campaign, including print, radio, outdoor advertising and Internet, will be rolled out within the next few weeks.
“In many respects I’m ‘Built Ford Tough’ and Ford recognized that,” said Keith. “I have worked hard to overcome obstacles in my life and achieve a dream, coming up from working in the oil fields to get where I am in country music.”
Keith, the reigning 2001 Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year, broke into the country music scene nine years ago. Since that time, he has had 15 number one songs with eight platinum and gold albums combined. His recently released album, Unleashed, captured the number one spot on the Billboard Country and Billboard 200 music charts during its first week of sales.
Ford has long been associated with country music. During the 1920s, Henry Ford hosted country dances and held country fiddling contests – including the Henry Ford Gold Cup in Dearborn, Mich. The contest was expanded through hundreds of communities across the country.
The connection between Ford Motor Company and country music was furthered in May 2001 when Ford became the “founding partner” of Nashville’s new Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Ford’s most notable contribution to the facility is the Ford Theater –
a 213-seat state-of-the-art performance venue.
Ford’s best-selling Built Ford Tough lineup of trucks includes Ranger, F-150, F-Series Super Duty pickups and chassis cabs and E-Series van and wagon models.

of me sitting on the gemini 3 space capsule 2 days after john glen orbited the earth in it(my Dad was air force and they came through panama with it and he smuggled me onto the transport and it was on it's side so he put me up on the nose of it and had me hold a life magazine with the picture of glenn on the front...I was 7 at the time and my Dad was my hero)

I've been on the TV three times describing what the tornado sounded like.
You'd think I would have learned by now and moved to a different trailer park.
(I am getting really good at saying "Freight Train!" as if I had actually heard a freight train before)

Is it true that trailer parks actually CAUSE tornados?
This thread is going a bit off course (but what else is new).
I was flipped off by the Rolling Stones on their first American tour as me and a buddy drove by the pavillion where they were playing. They were outside on a break, and we flipped them off first... and they returned the favor.
My 5 seconds of fame.

Without a doubt we are one pitiful website.
The best we can do is "Mick Jagger gave me the finger."
Steve will probably delete this thread before Ford can see it and pull their advertising.

Sorry Habibi, that ain't much.
Did he ever give you the finger?
Maybe at least we could brag about famous people who have given us the finger.
I can almost be part of that one. Once I was in a traffic confrontation with a stretch Caddy. When the limo finally passed me, a rear window came down enough for a hand to flip me the bird.
Now, that could have been somebody famous, I just don't know. It could have been some kids going to the prom. I hope not. I always fantasized that I cut off a bank president or a Judge or a Ford advertising exec in charge of internet banners.
