Question Steering Stabilizer on SuperDuty

Hey Super Duty owners

I know that on the 4x4 ORP there is is Steering stabilizer on the front. Looks like a small shock mounted horizontally.

My question is, Do the 4x4 Non OffRoad Package Trucks have the ability to add a aftermarket steering stabilizer? Is there a
"C" bracket that is just empty where if you got the ORP they would normally put the stabilizer shock in?

I ordered a 2002 F-250 Super Duty 4x4 SC SB. And I have bought new tires and wheels for it,(305x70x16)ProComp A/T's on Eagle Alloy 1439 16"x8" wheels. I would like to add a steering stabilizer.

Seems like it would be more of a pain to have 2 different steering pieces if the only difference is a 2" little "C" Bracket.

Appreciate the Help!

Question

Was just wondering what the bracket looks like. I have a F350 2003 and i can't seem to find the bracket on the steering linkage.

Could you buy chance take a picture of your steering stabilizer to see your install?

Thanks in advance,

Doesn't have to do with the off road package (thats just red colored shocks, a skid plate, and poser stickers), but does come with the snowplow prep package and camper prep package.

lol, but for real thats all it is. I changed my shocks, peeled the stickers off, and if your serious about it, the skid plate under there isn't that substantial.

Yes Sir, an oldie but a goody, Here's your pics...

The first pic shows the factory bracket that sits below the axle.

The second pic shows the bracket that comes with the stablizer.

Hey, What's up?

I've actually been a member since 1997 when I bought my '97 f150 (see sig)
but they must have changed the date either from non-activity, or when they changed the website around, it's alot different from what I remember. I was surprised that my login still worked.

Thanks,
Phil
