F150 wheels on a F250??? Possible?

I have a sweet set of 20's that I took off my 2004 F150....cannot seem to get them sold so I was wondering, is there anyway to make them work on my new 06 F250?

Is there an adapter out there? I did a search for it and found lots of spacers but not sure if that is possible.

Thanks

JP

No can't be done with any degree of safety.

There still would be only 5 or 6 lugs holding the weight made for 8 lugs. Factory F250 rims are made to hold the weight that that truck can carry or tow which is much greater than the F150. Then the 20" custom wheels may not support the F250 weight. I'd be surprised if they even make an adapter for this application.

Sure, just take out your sawzall and hack off two lugs! Or, get out the drill press and make your own holes in the wheel.

But seriously, it won't work. The F-150 wheels and tires aren't designed to haul nearly the weight of the F-250 wheels.

Yeah good point...just having trouble selling these freaking sweet wheels. May end up taking them back to trade for some wheels to use on the KR...but then again, I like the KR wheels.

But then again....Chrome looks good.....

Hmmmm

To top it off the wheels are hub centric on both, meaning that the hub is actually what centers the wheel and not the lug nuts. The lug nuts just apply a clamping load to the wheel to keep it pressed against the brake rotor. You'd have to machine out the center bore of the wheel to match that of the F250 hub diameter. Plus your spacer would have to have part of the hub flange machined into it due to the fact that the spacer just moved the wheel out past its hub flange. Could it be done, sure it might be possible with alot of machining, but no way would it ever be safe.
