Due to the repeat problem with the last server I have moved and updated my site. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Everybody that replied,

Sorry I have not been back sooner, thanks for your input. I hope I have all the bugs out of the site now.

CooperJ,

Nice site and beautiful 250 and Cobra.

Yomie,

Thanks, I checked out the 4x4 Central but the Explorer is the wife's and she has already threatened me with gross bodily harm if I touch HER Explorer, Heck I haven't even driven it yet! Since she is in the last 2 weeks of a pregnancy I find that the best thing for me to do is say "Yes Dear" a lot and really mean it! Have you checked out www.ford-diesel.com they have a lot of diesel and some gasser stuff.

Thanks everybody,
Scott

Thanks man...

Hey Scamp/Scott - Thanks!

I just updated the site last night with some pictures of the new goodies going in (or in). I'm sure I'll be adding more. God, the truck is getting more attention lately than my Cobra (Wilbur)!

I checked out your site again, and it's looking good man!

I want one of those caps/toppers! What do you think of ARE?

Man, my truck is just BARKING now - those mods made a world of difference!

CooperJ,

Thanks, I have kind of leveled off on the mods for now. The company I work for (a freight airline) has suspended operation; we went from 800-900 employees to 100 in 2 days. I am one of the few left trying to get it back in the air.

I love the A.R.E cap! There are a lot of features mentioned on their website www.4are.com but the biggest one that is not mentioned is the front glass. You have to get the slider and then ask for the "fold-in" option. It added $30 to the cost but was well worth it. What it does is put the front glass on a hinge; it will fold back into the bed so you can get between the cap and cab to clean the glass. There is an option to have the rear door lock remotely, I had it tied in with the power locks and since I have the remote I can unlock all the doors and the cap as I walk up to the truck. There is also an option to put a rear window wiper on the rear door but at $399 I passed it up. It could be installed at a later date if you really wanted it though. I had another brand on my previous truck (97 F-250LD) and it did not compare in quality or features. The only drawback I can find with the A.R.E. is the roof rack. The cross bars are easy to move but a real pain to take off. With the previous cap the roof rack stayed off most of the time, less to catch things on, but it was easy to put on when needed. I would say that the good things far outweigh the one little "bad" thing.

Well, have go, Momma’s calling and you know the saying about "When Momma's not happy, ain't nobody happy" well she ain't happy.

Scott

Very nice site Scott, I really enjoyed it.
I too was there (sort of) for that little conflict. 6 months in the Gulf on Nimitz.
