I vote for PHP. They just dropped their prices, and Bill also currently has an awesome thread going on how exactly he does his tuning (some tuners rely too much on timing).

http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/99-...g-general.html

As you can see, Bill's tunes have excellent flow in the maps.

Over on PSA, somebody posted some results of DP Tuner's timing maps (specifically his 80E tune)... they weren't pretty, and I'm not sure if they are still available.

Ok, my buddy just got a 2000 7.3 and yesterday went to one of the diesel shops and had them install the ts 6 position chip.. And boy did it wake that diesel up.

My 95 i just got has the old handheld edge 15000 and i havent screw with it but i think its in the towing mode, kinda have to have it in higher rpms for it to shift smooth and the accelerator is touchy.Im going to set it to stock tonite and run it like that for a while.

Also this edge that came with the truck was manufactured in 05, is there a reason to be worried about updates or anything?

Does the ts chip work pretty well on the 95's?

Zairman, are you saying PHP will reburn the chip if i get one for mine? What would be the difference in the php burn compared to the canned ts tunes? My buddys 2000 has stock, high idle, 50,75,100,140. What other tunes would be available?

With my truck being stock except for the boost and pyro gauge will it hurt the truck to run the ts chip?
Thanks guy

If you want the best 7.3 tune get a hold of Tony Wildman.

i just found the tony wildman chip a few hours ago and they have some very happy customers..

I just went out and set my truck back to stock with the edge and drove real nice but i lost all my power , I couldnt tell what level it was on but noticed before i took it back to stock i never saw the boost gauge past 7psi,but it had alot of torque. When i turned back to stock i could hear the turbo whistle and got 12psi very easily without really getting on the peddle. What tune does it sound like it was on? Im thinking the town tune?

No idea, but you should see more than 7lbs of boost with a tune in the truck. What did the pyro read when you were running that tune?

around 280 to 300 idleing, 650ish cruising and getting on it around 900-950.

PHP uses the ts style 6 position chip also....they also have the F.U. chip where you can burn your own tunes from a selection of twenty or so....
