Looking for a new 250 Crew Cab Lariat

Man, I have my dealer trying to find me an '06 F250 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4 with a V10. I can't believe how scarce the V10's are. Everybody has the PS in stock but the V10's seem to be rare. I am thinking about trading in my King Ranch 150 Screw, but if I can't find what I like in an '06 I may have to hold off. The new financing deal they have right now is a great deal and I have a hard time passing it up. Anyway, does anybody know of one in stock at a dealer near you? Preferably somewhere in my neck of the woods? That would be northern Illinois. Let me know if you know of any trucks out there. I can look it up and have him check on it.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks tho, I will check on it and see.

OK, you were right in the fact that they have a ton of trucks. 40 to be exact. Out of all of those, one has the V10 and it is an XLT. And bright red in color, which I do not prefer. Thanks tho. I may have a line on a King Ranch with the V10. I hope that might pan out.

Try http://www.woodhouse.com (Blair, NE), they have eight 07's that are crew cab v-10 larait 4x4 and 31 used. Used to live in Joliet, Ill. about a 7 hour drive, but sometimes they deliver their vehicles.

Thanks for the link, but I am looking for a 2006 unit, as Ford is offering the 0% interest on those. I could order exactly what I wanted if I was to get the '07. Unfortunately they aren't offering the 0% on the '07's. Hard to believe how many trucks they have at that dealer tho. Wow.

I feel for ya man, same 0% search back in '02 when I was lookin for a ZF6. Best the dealer could find was every option and spec I wanted, cept it being a 4R100. We all have to make hard decisions.

www.forddirect.com

You can use that to search dealer inventory by zip code, dealer name, vehicle type, etc.

VERY useful.

However, it sometimes lags maybe 1-3 days when vehicles are sold. So don't jump for joy if you *think* you find one...because it might be sold already lol.

Good luck!

I am also looking for a V-10 Superduty Lariat or King Ranch, but there aren't any around here.

I want a 2006 crew cab, long bed, with or without dual rear wheels......and a V-10.

Nothing.....nada, zip, ziltch, zero.

I am NOT buying that diesel, no matter what.

Between me and the dealer we have looked in about a 10 state region. I have found a few XLT Crew Cabs but I want a Lariat. Have grown too accustomed to the amenities in my KR. Anyway, I think I have given up. We have searched high and low. No luck.

Do a dealer search for Bill Collins Ford, All State Ford, or Star Ford in Louisville Kentucky (where the Superduty is built) I bet they will have what you want. If you need x plan pin just let me know also I can arrange it. I work at Kentucky Truck Plant where the Superduty is built.

Thanks. I will try that. I thought I had looked around the Louisville area but I will try those again. I was thinkng the same thing that they would have some down there.

Blang - Thanks for the tip, but again no go. All diesels in the Lariats. I may just order me a new '07. I really would like to have a new 250. But I don't want the diesel. I can't justify the extra expense of the diesel motor up front, or the price of fuel. I drive an '03 KR screw right now and if I stepped up to the 250 with the V10 I really wouldn't sacrifice much on mileage so I can live with that. I pull a 28' travel trailer with the KR and it does alright, but I would really like to have a little more power when I tow. And it would also give me the option to step up to a little bigger trailer if the wifey decides she wants something a little more than what we have now. I appreciate the offer on the x plan pin. If I decide on the '07 could you set that up for me?
