Out of the F250, Into an Expy! PICS ADDED!!

Well we sold our sweet 05 Powerstroke and bought a less expensive 2003 Expy Eddie B. Its black and tan and pretty much stock... 5.4 (a must) One owner with 77,500 on the clock... Interior is decent but definately not as well cared for as our f250... But the price was right!!! :o)

We will pick it up tomorrow... I will post photos... So far we are planning on weathertech mats front/rear/cargo... 7" audio/DVD/GPS deck... Pretty much it, gonna be the wife's car. In feb I will prolly buy a very used F150 for me...

Anyway, thought I would say hey!

welcome to our little traveled section of the site.

post up some pictures when you get them. the 03-06 Expy are pretty sweet looking, and you can do lots of little things to spice 'em up

btw, FYI for you. Most of the 03-06 Expy components are shared with the 04-08 F-150. Rims, electronics, motor, 4x4 system, leveling systems (front)

Oh yes, I am very familiar with what mods I want from having a 4.6L F150, and 2 6.0L F250s... LoL...

Well now the list has grown and we don't even have the Expy yet (see sig)... LoL

Will post photos later, the dealer photos were terrible...

Even though the engines are "similar", there is much less available for the Expy than the F150. Remember, we have the two valve version vice the 3v 5.4l engine. I don't think they went to the 3v version until 05. I settled for a K&N drop-in as no CAI available. I got a SISO Flowmaster exhaust, as dual exhaust not possible. I put a 2" spacer lift to allow 33's since no other lift was available. There is now a 3" lift available (ReadyLift is the brand). I did get some custom tuning from Troyer Performance that pepped it up a bit though. You will like the Expy, nice vehicle. Good Luck.

Here are some pics... Yeah I don't need much for power, K&N drop in and a muffler swap will do... We love it so far... Pretty nice for an inexpensive (to us) vehicle... Way under half of the payment of the F250... Hope to be paid of next year!

Here it is! Enjoy!

I'm thinking of getting out of my F150 and into either an Expedition or Excursion. The F150 is just not big enough anymore. I may be going to look at an '06 Expedition EB on Monday. Anyone know if my Edge Evolution from my F150 will work in the Expy?
