I figured I would post up some video's of my current exhaust system because everyone loves watching exhaust videos. I took these video's this morning and despite the occasional wind and background noise, they came out pretty good imo.

This is my 2005 Fx4 with the 5.4. The only exhaust Mod I have is the Corsa Sport SISO Cat-Back system with Dual 4 inch Tip. I have found a lot of Corsa DB videos but not very many Corsa Sport as i believe the system was discontinued. I think I found the last one in exsistence. It was a lot more expensive but has an awesome tip and its made of higher quality Stainless steel T304.



I plan on installing some Maggie hi-flows soon to replace my 4 Factory Cats, and i wanted some before and after Vids.

Hey Guys,

I wanted to bump this thread and personally thank everyone who was helping me with my decision to go with high flow cats to replace my 4 factory cats. It was by far the best money I have ever spent on my truck. The Difference in sound alone was worth it!

Back in January I bought my Corsa Sport SISO exhaust and although i did it for the lack of drone and I was extremely disappointed with the over all lack of sound. Corsa's are basically designed to have no drone at cruise and idle but sound like "Lion's Roar" when you get on it.

I spent a lot of money, 750.00 for this setup and it sounded a little louder then factory and more like a kitten to me not the "V8" sound i wanted.

Two weeks ago i got some Maggie 94106's installed and followed the exact instructions for install provided by you guys. I did not need O2 extenstions and the rear O2 sensor was mounted 3 inches downstream of the CAT. So far i have had no CEL Issues.


The sound Change after install was IMMEDIATELY NOTICED, even the muffler shop guys were surprised when they first cranked her up. And here is the best part, I still have ZERO Drone while cruising and She sound a little louder then factory at an idle. But When i accelerate prepare for snapped necks on the street, it is amazing to me then the exhaust setup can go from so quiet to so loud. Bottom of the line is I am extremely happy i didn't sell my Corsa setup and tired this first!

I will be updated with more videos to show the after effects i really wish i took more before videos to really demonstrate just how drastic the difference is in performance and sound.

Took these this morning, the exhaust pops a little on the warm-start and rev but to be honest i didn't let it warm up enough once she is warm popping is not exsistant. I also tried to keep angle and distance the same as the before videos. I will update with some drive-by and in cab driving vids when i get some more help and time, ENJOY!!

congrats on the Corsa Sport setup!
I bought mine a few years ago when they were putting them on clearance (about half what you spent!) and I have been very happy with it.

How about a video of the sound with the high flow cats? How much did the cats setup cost you, if you don't mind me asking?

 

After Videos have been posted above. I payed 100.00 total for Both Hi-flow Cats Magnaflow 94106's, and the install was 200.00. So 300.00 total and totally worth it every penny.

I took some vids yesterday, I'm not happy with them though its sounds much better in person. I used my iphone4 which picks up alot of background noise. Also, I live on a busy street which doesn't help. But here is what I recorded, I will let you guys decide how it sounds. I will also try to get a hold of a better camera or re-record on one of these back South Jersey Roads when i get some time.

I think your truck sounds great! That popping is probably all that condensate from the cold start and it takes time to get all the water out. I could see it blowing out even on what you called a warm start. All your drive videos sound really good. i think your phone just didn't pick up the pass that had your exhaust on the opposite side driving by, but the rest of the passes sound great!
Your truck has a nice deep tone, I love it.

 

You sir have a Bad-A truck that looks straight sexy and BIGGGG, BIGGGG props on going with the Harley/Raptor Exit. They look so sexy on our trucks. I love mines!
Did I mention how damn sexy she sounds? You don't hear alot of these Fords with Corsas on em! It sounds amazing. Really brings out the sound of that Modular 5.4! WOW, F150Online guy's has some of THE best sounding exhaust out there hands down.

I like that "LS7 Corvette Gurgle" Corsas have at idle! Flipping wonderful! You better not EVER sell this truck for the NNBS ones, or I will kill you lol j/k j/k! These are the best body's to me lol. If you want it faster, just do a motor swap but you must keep this baby. She's a beauty!

Lol thanks alot man. I don't ever plan on selling my truck i figure as things break I will just Upgrade them. These are the kinds of posts that can blow a guy's head up if you know what I mean, lol. I put alot of time and thought into the direction i wanted my truck to go. And I can honestly say I owe alot to the member of these forums. Advice of the hi-flows, how to install them, custom badges, headlights and fog lights, custom decals for quarter panels and my custom Fx4 saleen grill badge. i got all the ideas from pieces I liked about everyone's trucks it all came together quite nicely. I am super happy and continue to find other things i want to do to my truck.

Those clips sound bad ***!! I've had the same setup as you for almost 3 years now and I love it!! No drone when cruising, and mean the rest of the time. Last week I threw on my AEM Brute Force intake and damn is she a mean bitch when I stomp on her now!!

It's strange, you hear cold starts and idle and you'd think the Corsa would almost have a cammed type of sound while driving, but when you actually hear it the sound is extremely clear and precise.

 

Exactly, i know alot of people are big or Borla and Magnaflow but i am absolutely in love with this Corsa setup, i cant imagine how good it would sound with an intake and LT Headers. But Someday i will find out

I took some more videos today in cab driving to really stress how little to no drone is present in the cab while cruising it literally goes virtually silent!
