My "Y" pipe arrived today. Truck has a date Tuesday at 8am. Still trying to decide on which tip. It's either going to be 18x4 45 degree slash or 18x4 15 degree rolled. After seeing them on another truck I'm leaning toward the rolled. I'm doing a 90 degree exit behind the tire with the end of the tip no more than an inch beyond the body... so my thinking is the rolled tip will flow better with the contour of the bottom of the body

iPhone cut me off...anyhow if anyone has any input on sound quality/difference, I'd love to hear it. It also seems that no one does 90 behind the tire anymore (part of the reason I want to) anyone here running anything similar, I'd love to see it. Thanks and sorry for the double post!

Finally!!!
All done, and VERY happy with how it turned out. I ended up going with the rolled edge tips, I wanted 4" but the largest they had on hand was 3.5" so I went with those for now. I originally wanted the tips flush with the body, but after playing with it and talking with the shop, we decided to let them hang out just past the edge of my tires. We did this because new rims and tires are up next. Once I get those on, we will adjust how how far they stick out in relation to the new set up, and at that point I may go to 4". Here's some pics, truck is going for a bath after lunch, vids to come!

Thanks guys for the advice, haven't had a chance to try either yet.
King ranch , thank you. Its loud when you step on it, but idles at that low rumble. In overdrive it's surprisingly quiet. If I could do it all over, I would have gone with the 14" SIDO for just a little more volume. I have a lot of other items on the list before redoing the exhaust! Overall, I'd say I'm happy with it. The local shops all wanted me to buy their brand of a Flowmaster knockoff...6 total shops. I talked to a few guys I'd run into at work or in parking lots and all were running Flomaster or similar as well. They are certainly loud, but I wanted tone more than volume as well.

Hey Rem looks like a badass set up! I wish I had mine 45'd now that I think back on it. Could you maybe message me a few pictures of your new Maggie Y pipe set up that you replaced the stock one with? I need to get an image in my head on what it should look like and what to tell my exhaust shop. At your convenience, thanks man.
