y pipe questions

i plan on doing my exhaust on my 08 soon. i plan to remove the factory Y and replace it with a dual 2.5" in and a single 3" out, back to a 3" straight through magnaflow and exit before the tire.
does anyone make a Y that will easily replace the factory one? i want to do it myself since its not that hard, but once i cut it out i wont have time to order parts and let it sit. if i get a stainless Y and muffler and take it somewhere they may use stainless pipe but not weld so whats the point. and its expensive.
thanks

Best bet is to order a t-409 stainless grade 2.5" 90 degree mandrel bend pipe from Mandre Bending Solutions and the shop can hack the OEM Y-pipe out, then install the bend, Y pipe, run your midpipe and everything else. Then you will have a 100% smooth exhaust gas flowpath and a rich deep toned sound.

Ill have to look at it and see how low the left bank is in relation to the right bank. if I can put the y in vertically and the outlet is high enough I could do that myself, if that makes sense. I'm a pipefitter so I know I can do it.
Anyone have pictures??

Exhaust specs are in my sig. '97 4.6, the headers have a 3" collector w/ 94109 maggie cats, 50 series Flowmaster. It defitnitely flattened torque curve but its a 4.6 so, "strong torque curve".... Im very happy with it if for nothing at all, sound. Cant go wrong w/ LTs. PI heads and a cam would sound plain rediculous
