Auto zone sells a rubberized spray paint that is advertised as wheel well paint. I figure that will be about as chip resistant as it gets besides spray on bed liner and that costs too much

one of the reasons i have my dumped under the bed and not visible. i always hated the way they looked on my other trucks. you wash your truck and it looks great but you never can get the tips looking good after a while.

i like the fact that i don't have exhaust exiting anywhere too. it just gives the truck a clean balanced look IMO. tired of straight out the back, out the side behind the rear wheel looks too factory, out the side in front of the rear wheel is played out. dumped and not visible was an easy choice for me this time around. love the way it sounds inside and outside the cab too.

It's 7.50 a can at home depot. If that's too much, how did you ever afford the lift, wheels, tires and gears for your truck?

Straight out

I know you said you weren't interested in straight out but I do like the "uniqueness" of mine as it does turn a few heads.

I meant spry on bed liner like line-ex is too expensive. The local shop told me $65 to spray 2 tips. I'm going to use the wheelwell spray paint. I'm assuming it's pretty durable since it's meant for the wheel wells

I see. Was going to say, 4 grand or more into your truck and the last 15 bucks breaks the bank. Are u not going with the Jones tips anymore? They not going to hold up to the abuse?

I've used that stuff before. This stuff is called wheel well paint or something like that. I've never used this before but it seems like it would be durable

I did get Jones. They just don't make black 5" so I'm having to paint them. The biggest black ones they make are 4"

I finally have my tips, mufflers, and x-pipe. Hoping to get them installed in within 2 weeks. I have to work around my school schedule to be able to get home and get it all put on

I have always been a fan of dual exhaust strait out the back look. Never much cared for the angle thing.
